Best one out there!!!
I bought this Victorinox SwissChamp just over a year ago now.It is absolutely superb. This is my verdict on the tools:1. Large blade - excellent, razor sharp out of the box, ground on both sides and tapers to a point, secure. Used it for opening packages, cutting bags and string etc. NO LOCK ON ANY BLADES2. Small blade - small version of large blade and is also excellent. Used it for sharpening a pencil, cuting a slot in a Jelly Belly pot to create a money box etc.3. Nail file - excellent, files nails brilliantly, also can be used as a metal file.4. Nail cleaner - good, works like it should; my nails are now cleaner than ever before.5. Metal saw - haven't used this but is of good, strong, sturdy quality.6. Wood saw - haven't used it but large teeth close together and have seen someone use it excellently.7. Fish scaler - looks good8. Hock disgorger - another tool useful to fishermen9. Inch ruler / cm rule - good, clear divisions10. Scissors - leaf spring, open very wide, excellent clean cut, strong, curved end so high quality cut along length of blades, look wonderful, not serrated unlike Wenger's, used to cut thread, paper etc.11. Pliers - great, thick, strong, leaf spring loaded, large teeth for small bolts, small teeth near end for more delicate work, fixed joint not slip joint unlike Wenger's, used to pull nails out of a shelving unit etc., quite small though...12. Wire cutter - small, in joint of pliers and pliers must be opened fully before it becomes visible, haven't had cause to use it but should work well.13. Magnifying glass - great clarity and excellent for looking at items in detail, used for examining things like coins and fossils14. Phillips screwdriver - Excellent - works perfectly, thick, strong lock, 90 and 180 degrees locking as seen in photo, would recommend this on its own!15/16. Can opener and small screwdriver - haven't used them but seen them work excellently. Use can opener working away from you.17/18/19. Bottle opener and wire stripper and large screwdriver. Haven't used wire stripper. Bottle opener works really well, opened a J2o with it. Also good for beer or any capped bottle. Screwdriver excellent and worked really well for me when securing my bed, both locked fully out and at 90 degrees (fully out in photo, phillips screwdriver is out at 90 degrees)20. keyring - excellent for carrying it on I would think21,22,23. reamer, sowing eye, punch - haven't used it but should work well24. 2.5 mil slotted screwdriver - works well, used to undo a cross head screw and undo a binder so far...25. Wood chisel - can also be used as a paint scraper26. Multi purpose hook - useful for many things, undoing knots, carrying parcels with string, holding bike chains etc.27. corkscrew - not used but looks quite small - may split cork, may not, time will tell28. Mini screwdriver - excellent, used to tighten my glasses screws29. Tweezers - good quality and used to extract something from my foot30. Ball point pen - small but mighty and as of yet unused31. Toothpick - small and plastic, should be useful32. Straight pin - not a sowing needle, just a straight pin, useful for unblocking stuff (like tap covers or the washers on cars) and is hidden just at the base of the corkscrew in the scale itself33. wire crimper - in pliers handles and haven't used it yet but good for electricians I should guess, like the wire stripper. Therefore, as you can see, with 33 functions, excellent Victorinox quality and a lifetime warranty, this is in my opinion the bes tool in the world.I would recommend it but would also recommend the belt pouch too as it is quite large and heavy.

Fantastic.
The Victorinox Swiss Champ Swiss Army Knife is truly a versatile and reliable tool. With 33 functions packed into a compact design, it’s perfect for those who need a handy multi-tool for everyday tasks or outdoor adventures. The blade is sharp and durable, the scissors work smoothly, and the additional tools like the can opener and screwdriver are useful. It is also not that heavy given how many features it has. While the knife is a bit on the expensive side, the quality and functionality more than justify the price. It’s sturdy, feels premium, and is built to last, making it an excellent investment for anyone in need of a reliable multi-tool. Overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance and highly recommend it.

This champ is the CHAMP
Hand on heart the swiss champ is perfection. I wouldn't change a thing on it. I have owned the Swiss climber for 10 years and used it practically every single day of those years and apart from sharpening the blades the odd time it's as good as new. The only thing I missed on the climber was a file. So my daughters bought me the champ because it has the file but it has so much more. It has the nail file, metal file, metal saw, plus and I really love this for when I'm out and have forgotten my glasses, a magnifying glass which is so useful for when I can't read the small print and also if I needed a fire in survival situation. I love the pliers which I used first day to remove a thorn from the dogs paw. It has a load more tools but I won't go into them all. Suffice to say that for me the swiss army champ is the perfect bladed multi tool for me, I can't praise it enough, it's well laid out and made from stainless steel. Very sturdy tool that's built to last a lifetime and looks good at the same time. Everybody should own a swiss army knife at some time in their life. Once you have one you'll never be without it and you'll wonder how you got through all those years without one. Treat yourself you won't regret it. Highly recommended

A great piece of craftsmanship
Some consider it to be too big for a pocket knife, well it is and you may need a pouch, but its awesome quality and functionality. It simply has it all, great for those who cannot decide what tools they want on their swiss army knife.Every tool does a great job if you know how to use it except the corkscrew, i could never get a wine open with it, but it holds the very useful micro screwdriver and i use that a lot.It comes in a nice gift card box with a big user's guide that explains the use of all the tools, finally i realized how useful the multipurpose hook can be.The Swiss Champ is one of the must have swiss army knifes and its the flag ship of Victorinox's production.Victorinox advertises it as a 33 tools multitool, but they always count the keyring as a tool too.Well worth the money, even not perfect, the only flaws i found:-the wire cutters are way too small, only about 1.7mm, you can cut such small wires with the scissors-the phillips screwdriver is polished too, so it slips out of the screw head a lot, so you have to use a lot more pressure-it came overoiled and it took me some time to clean out all excessive oilbut for the price i got it from amazon, on an amazon sale for just 29quid i should really not moan about it, even the current 45quid is still a great price for it.Highly recommended, great gift, great multitool

Fantastic!
I’ve had a penknife in my pocket since I was a kid. I’ve had a few Swiss army knives over the years and currently have an explorer model with a broken blade that’s been sent back for a lifetime warranty repair. I wanted a replacement but couldn’t decide which model so bought the Swiss champ which has everything :) I’ve had it in my jeans pocket in a victorinox pouch since it came through the door and I’ve used it every day. In fact I don’t know how I managed without it. It’s not as bulky as I expected even with the case. Definitely one purchase that will last for years.

Worth every penny
I bought this 9 years ago. It's fully tested now! My wife said "what do you want one of those for!!??". She uses it as much as I do 😂I've used every tool on my swiss champ and while the pin is a little bent up and the scales could do with replacing so they are tight fitting again it is still absolutely spot on. The blade are razor sharp as are the scissors, chisel and awl. I really can't fault it. It's with me every day and used all the time by my whole family. I highly recommend these tools, and so does my wife!!

A really useful pocket knife.
I have had and used pocket knives since I was a small boy. To expand on that for those that may be shocked that a small boy was allowed a knife, my father was both a butcher and a Scout leader and believed in the importance of teaching me knife use, responsibility, respect and safety.I had not actually owned a genuine Victorinox pocket knife before I purchased this due to not being able to afford one, I had a copy of one in my fishing box but it was very poor quality and a few of the tools had quickly snapped off. My concern for buying a genuine one was that it wouldn't be much better than this awful copy.......how wrong I was!My favourite pocket knife before this was a Leatherman Micra, which I used pretty much every day. However, I found that I required more tools, so after reading and watching reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and get one of these. It is now my most used pocket knife and I am very glad I purchased it. I got the Victorinox belt case for carrying it when I need to and I barely notice it is there when I do.I haven't used every single tool on it yet but I have used most of them. They all work very well and I am constantly surprised at how strong and well made this knife is.The two knife blades themselves are not the hardest steel in the world, but it is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well.I am converted!

Top kwaliteit.
Dus echt top. En ik ben echt een gelukkige man.

Jack of all Trades, Master of Some
My fascination with the Swiss Army knife in general began when I was a kid, and we visited West Africa. I had never seen so many citrus and mango trees; species that I couldn't even begin to name. We goofed around, played soccer, climbed trees, etc. On one occasion, my cousin climbed an orange tree, plucked some oranges, sat on a tree branch, pulled out his Swiss Army knife, peeled them and devoured them from that aerial position. I was green with envy. He was able to do so many things with the Swiss Army knife that I had to borrow tools for. Particularly the knife, the scissors and the saw.The Swiss Champ has the most tools of the Swiss Army knife line up (keep in mind that the Swiss Champ comes in two other versions that are even larger than this one, and which I would not recommend for pocket carry). While it is almost too big to be called a pocket tool, it fits in a pocket just fine, if a bit weightier than other knives. In terms of practicality, a Leatherman tool is probably a more practical option in an 'urban' environment, with its pliers-driven orientation. But for traveling, camping, exploring the woods, and just being out in nature in general, the Swiss Army knife would be my ideal pick. It's a smaller, self-contained unit which - while not necessarily perfect in many of its functions - is excellent for use in a pinch. I have on many occasions wished I had a pen to write a note with, only to remember that the Swiss Champ comes with one. The knives are wickedly sharp; I've cut myself a few times with them. So are the saw and the scissors. I have also used the toothpick, washed it off, dried it and returned it to its slot. I'm taking up fishing, and I'm glad for the scaler tool on this. The can opener and tin opener have also seen use.The downside of the Swiss Army knife in general is that it is rather delicate. This is a tool that requires more care than a Leatherman. The tools are not replacable, yet because it has so many tools in the unit, it is not as easy to dispose of when one tool breaks. I try not to rely on it when I am at home, and have access to dedicated tools. But in all, for emergencies, this is a tour de force.
