These are soft and juicy compared to other snacks sticks. They're mildly spicy for me but I enjoy super spicy food so my opinion might be a bit skewed. After I ordered my first box, it nearly vanished after a few days. When I went to reorder, they didnt have the hot and spicy version, just Orginal and Teriyaki. I ordered the teriyaki flavor, but I thought it was a lil too tangy. The "Buy it again" kept popping up the hot flavor but every time I checked, it wasnt an option. I thought, what the hell, I'll roll the dice and see what happens. I was so happy when the right one showed up! This is my forth box I've ordered and every time the box is nearly falling apart since it's always shipped in a thin Amazon bag. Thought I'd share the expiration date of my latest box since I didn't see anyone else posting theirs. Hope they keep these in stock since I intend on making it a Subscription!!

Incredible seasoning [just right], easy to carry on a hike and delicious!

These are a bit more costly compared to Jack links, or slim Jim's, but to me flavor wise there is no comparison, these taste much better to me, not a slimy texture as compared to slim Jim's, and not as over seasoned as other meat sticks. Tastes like small sausage to me, with a hint of cheddar cheese.

I've been addicted to these sausage sticks after receiving my first order several years ago. . i don't think there's such a thing as a bad batch but my recent order was even better yet. They were more tender, not as dry and I would guess they'd been made recently. Trust me, the first 10 boxes were excellent BUT now that I've had these juicier sticks.... well, if I could specify to get THESE...that would be great. However....I'm still VERY SATISFIED with every box that I've purchased. It must be a total of maybe 15 boxes by now and no, these aren't for retail. We use these personally for family times, get togethers and celebrations with family and friends. You won't be disappointed. I'm not kidding, I think I have a serious addiction to these sausage sticks. LOL
