Veet Wax Strips 40ct + 4 Finish Wipes, Bikini, Leg, Underarm & Body Hair Removal for Normal Skin | Dermatologically Tested, Sensitive Waxing Solution

I love these wax strips. I spent a lot of time and money going to salons for many years and started doing it myself about 7 years ago. It's really easy once you get used to it. I recommend going to have it done professionally several times in each area to work out the best strategy. General tips: 1) prep area with baby powder, baking flour, etc. Anything that will dry out the area and keep the wax from sticking to your skin. 2) Smooth wax strip on WITH the direction the hair is growing (armpits up, bikini line down, legs down, etc). 3) While holding your skin taut with one hand, rip the strip back and off quickly in the OPPOSITE direction (do not pull it UP) 4) Feel free to do it again in the same area with the same strip to remove leftover hair and wax, if it's not too bruised or painful. 5) apply a cold, wet compress to the area (I use a wet washcloth with ice wrapped up inside) and hold for 30 seconds or more. This not only feels good and cools but will reduce the inflammation and reaction. It will also prevent bruising if your technique wasn't perfect. 6) apply a thin layer of hydrocortisone cream to reduce reaction and red bumps, 7) use the oil wipes they give you in the packet to get rid of any leftover wax bits, and keep skin from sticking. You can also use a fragrance free sensitive skin lotion (like one you would use on your face, such as oil of olay, or aveeno). 8) LET THE AREA REST. Do not apply tight clothing, deoderant, or any other product on the area that might irritate it. I recommend waxing before bed to allow the skin to relax and heal over night (free of clothing or wear loose clothing). Good luck! The first time was not great, but figured it out eventually! The ice compress trick I learned at a salon a few years ago and it really helps a lot. It reduces the pain and reaction a lot.

They work pretty much as described. I only need them for a small area so I think they’re a fast and easy way to wax. It took me 3 minutes from start to finish. I received them 10 minutes ago, I used them and now I’m writing a review. It was that fast. However, if you want to do a bigger area like a leg I think they won’t last very long. I had been using the warm up liquid Veet Oriental Wax which I love because it’s water soluble but it’s a hassle warming it up, washing the strips, etc. The strips work just as well and I was done very quickly. I barely had any residue left but the other reviews suggested using oil and so I dampened a tissue with grapeseed oil and cleaned the area and was good to go. It’s my first time but I probably won’t go back to liquid wax, it’s only advantage being you can contour with it better.

Great wax strips, only recenty started waxing my legs at home as I wanted a cheaper deal than what salons can offer, but great value for price and the smell is divine! Depending on the hair length I have found this a reliable product lasting up to 4 weeks without having to wax again, so much easier than shaving! Of course the process is fairly lengthly however perfect for a pampering day! Knocking off one star as the wax itself sticks to your legs for a while, picks up fluff and sometimes makes your legs look dirty however isnt impossible to remove :)

I've basically just tried out this product. Let me tell you a few tricks you could try to save time and money. So what I did was I cut a strip in half, making 4 strips instad of 2 :) It was easier to work with this. One strip (I mean that 1/4 strip) can be used two times which I find very cool. It has a lovely bubblegum smell as well. Instead of heating it up with your hands, try heating them for like 3 seconds with a hair dryer :) it did the job for me. Much better like this. The perfect finish wipes really are perfect. The only problem was that it didn't stuck in the shorter hairs, but I'll try that in a couple of days so that I can be completely smooth. I recommend this product because you can save money, it smells great and I think it does what it should. It's perfect. Oh, and it does not hurt! I mean, of course you feel it for like half a second but that's seriously nothing. Try it! ;)

So have used different veet removal strips and thought I would give this one a go. You get 2 boxes, 20 strips each. Now I would say this is hit and miss. Sometimes a strip takes of good coverage and can get maybe 4 uses of one side of the strip as you peel pack one to get 2 strips. Then sometimes one lacking in its sticky and no matter how hard you try it just won't grip the hairs. I manged to do a teenager legs/thighs but if was an adult would struggle to complete removing all hairs and would definitely require going into the 2nd box. I can say that I didn't remove all hairs. It also took me much longer to complete. .was an hour and 45 mins which is a long time. Would I buy again..not sure..only if reduced or maybe if was just a smaller area required rather then a whole set of legs and thighs or if run out of a veet one I prefer. All in all it wasn't bad but wasn't brilliant either. There was a bit of redness and spots but was easy to clean residue and legs did feel smooth.

Let me just clear things up, as a product itself it gets 5 stars. Because they were used on me during a charity event and I'm a man so it hurts it gets 1 star! The 40 strips are actually 2x20 strips as each strip consists of two waxings. Very easy to use, by simply warming the strip in your hand, separating them and placing them in the area you want to wax. I had my legs waxed, the hair was around an inch long. It did a fantastic job at removing all evidence I ever had hair on my legs! It also includes an oil wipe to remove excess wax and aid in preventing in growing hairs. I'm not sure how the product would perform on shorter hairs unfortunately, but for longer hairs it's fantastic. I'd highly recommend this product to men who want to wax but don't want to go to a salon to get it done. A fantastic all round product!

Definitely recommend these strips! I never usually opt for ready made wax strips coz they just don’t work well enough for me, but because of lockdown I’ve had to figure a way to get waxing at home, I was about to buy a jar of wax but hesitated and found these so thought I’ll give them a try. I was really impressed with results! They’re super easy to use, no need to heat them, they’re ready to be applied on to skin and leave no mess. Most importantly they work a treat, no need to apply and reapply to the same area, just one strip was enough to remove all hair from each area which means quicker and better results. Regrowth was also slow. I have recommended these to everyone.

well first off I'm a male and I have more course body hair than females (I think). Anyway a lot of people were saying "only 20 came not 40" and oh my god the wax stays on the skin and barely removed any hairs. Let me put these reviews to rest: 1) Yes, there are only 20 strips, however these are duel, meaning they come in pairs. So yes it may appear like there are 20 but in reality there are 40 when you peel each one apart you actually get 2. 2) There is a method to using these. I managed to wax all my chest hairs off, all my armpit hairs, and some butt hairs with no issue. You need to not hesitate when you use these and pull quickly and efficiently moving parallel to your body shape not away from it. Also remember to put the strip down in the direction of your hair growth and pull away from it to get it all off. I think a lot of people were complaining because they were pulling the strips outwards which won't work, and they had moisture or wet skin when they did it. When you have moisture or a lot of heat the wax seems to stick more and is harder to get off. All in all I would say 8/10, because although these work great, the wax remover strips are just as important as the wax strips and you only get 4 of them, and in reality you need like 12 minimum for 40 strips.

Worked great. Used it yesterday on my legs. Today skin is smooth. I would recommend growing your hair out more than you think you should. Mine literally hadn’t been shaved in a year lol so it was long enough that the wax didn’t miss any hairs. I already ordered another box to keep at the house for next time

Works as described

I do not recommend this same brand that says “Professional”. Instead, I highly recommend this one specifically because the grey box that says “Professional” hurts and the adhesive is not great. However this one, works great for me. I see why others would say that the adhesive needs to be improved, but I do not believe that it is too bad. I would say that this product is also pretty affordable.

This product is absolute horrible. First: it does not really work. Especially not on short hair (I tried it or the first time with hair of lenght ca. 2 mm) and literally nothing happened. So I‘ve let it grow a few more days. The result was a bit better than, but still not good. Around 50% of my leg hair got removed. Second thing: after showering, using lotions and soap I still wasn‘t able to remove the wax. If you wear jeans or something after it, lint will stick on your legs. Good thing when you‘re going to a party later, where you want to wear a dress (like I did) (Ironie off) Third thing: it feels sooo horrible on the armpit. It really hurts a lot hours after you used it. And also didn’t work there. I don‘t understand how anyone could rate this product in a good way. Do yourself and don‘t buy it. (I usually don‘t write negative comments as everyone has got a different flavour, but this really made me angry)
