yeh i would say so,its gentle enough to use on hair and it gets up a good lather for cleaning clothes if you wanted too.

Hello, approximately how many washes do you think is in a bar? And do you think it would melt travelling around in a tropical climate?

No idea on the actual number but it'll be a lot. It's a large, dense heavy bar that produces loads of lather & the bar itself still remains solid. This is a bar of soap that wears down to a tough sliver not a sludgy mess. It would be fine in a tropical climate I'd imagine, it's what I'd take
