Amazing little projector
As other reviews indicate, this is a remarkable little projector. It is usable during the day in a fairly well lit environment. When dark, it shines. I was concerned about it not being high definition but it seems very clear to us. The auto-focus and auto-keystone are quite magical at this price point. And this thing is small. Not quite nano, but close. Totally quiet. I set it up with a Bluetooth sending unit in the headphone output jack for audio, but to be honest we hardly bother as the sound is adequately loud and quite clear. Android was a snap to set up even if you are a Roku devotee. What a deal this thing is! Delighted with it.

Worth the Price!
My husband and I wanted to find something to have movie and mario kart nights on. we thought a tv would be the best option, but we hated how big and not easy to transport they are. we started looking at projectors but the one thing that we really didn’t like about them was: where would we put it? we didn’t want to mount it somewhere, and wanted the flexibility of it being in multiple possible positions! all of that said, the keystone functions, hdmi and usb port, the clarity in imagery, the smart-tv capabilities, and overall the INCREDIBLE quality in both sound and design made this worth every penny. we won’t have to get rid of or sell this thing probably ever due to the versatility. 100% worth the price, and the quality is so recommendable. We already have a few friends purchasing it because they have seen firsthand how great it is! the only thing i would mention as a downside is a light area around the adjusted keyframe itself. the projector can’t adjust to have light show only in one area, so rather it adjusts within the light area it has. pretty ingenious design, but does leave a bit of a funky rectangle around your movie/show. not noticeable enough to take away from 5 stars, but worth mentioning! the other thing to note is that the auto keystone function is best if you have it placed squarely facing a wall. but i don’t mind adjusting it on my own, as it takes all of 10 seconds to do so!

Great for Movie Night!
I struggled to wade through the sea of cheap projectors that had questionable quality. I wanted a projector that I could easily set up to play movies on the ceiling for movie nights with my wife, and that ended up being rather difficult to find. Enter the XGIMI. After some research, I discovered it had a stand that could point at the ceiling and was easy to set up. Between that and the ability to Chromecast to the projector from my phone (or use the onboard apps to stream videos) this projector had all of the features I desired. The projector itself is fairly sturdy. It feels like it could take a fall or two without suffering too much damage (not that I'd necessarily recommend it). The stand we bought from XGIMI is made of metal and also feels very sturdy. The projector's software runs on Android OS and runs fairly smoothly, though it can be slow at times to load. Apps can be downloaded from the Google Play store, allowing you some customization based on what services you want to use on the projector. The Chromecast feature requires one such app to be downloaded before you can use it. The speakers have fairly good sound quality. We have primarily used the built in speakers, and have been able to hear things fairly clearly. The sound isn't tinny or unpleasant, so that is a big plus. You won't be getting much in the way of bass frequencies from this projector, but such is the tradeoff when using a small device for viewing. The setup was fairly easy, though my use required some manual adjustments so the projection displayed correctly on the ceiling. The quality is fairly good, even on our ceiling that has drop ceiling tiles. It also holds up pretty well in the light. During the summer, we were able to draw the curtains and run the projector, even with a decent amount of light still coming into the room. All in all, I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for something portable and easy to set up and move.

**Updated: Great customer service and updates on my experience
**April 2024 update While I initially faced some challenges with streaming high-quality content from Netflix, the great support from the Helpdesk turned things around. They were highly skilled and responsive, patiently addressing my concerns and providing effective solutions. After discussing my issues in detail with the Helpdesk, I decided to upgrade to the MoGo Pro, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The upgraded model has enhanced my viewing experience significantly, offering superb image clarity and smoother streaming. --------------- I bought this projector after reading the strong recommendation from WireCutter The projector is sleek, easy to setup and is really well made. The supplemental stand is a good investment and allows you to angle the projector to whatever position you need The device is great at self focusing and adjusting to whatever surface you’re projecting on. My major complaint is Netflix. They have several “workarounds” but none of them have allowed me to stream high quality Netflix. I’ve contacted the Helpdesk and tried 3 different ways they’ve suggested to install or stream Netflix. It’s still pixilated and very low quality If you’re looking for a good projector and primary stream non Netflix media this is a good option but off you’re a heavy Netflix user you’ll be disappointed

Great quality and much easier to set up than traditional projectors
Great picture quality and way easier to use than those old-school projectors you'd see in school. For being 720p the picture looks great and the colors are vibrant. I had a cheaper projector that was also 720p and you could see all the individual pixels unlike this one. I heard it was due to some kind of tech that helps upscale resolution or something but I forgot the specifics. I also like that it has built in features to auto level or auto fit the screen to the backdrop and it can also be adjusted manually. The audio is pretty good as well which is to be expected when you look at the audio drivers in the back. It also has built in streaming services like Hulu, crunchyroll and others though you will have to go through special steps to enable Netflix due to licensing issues but nothing too complicated. Overall I love how much better the video, audio quality and ease of use this one is

Amazing little projector
I was pleasantly surprised by how effortlessly I could set up this projector and acquire all the necessary apps. What truly stands out for me is its intuitive user interface, delivering a seamless experience. The sound quality is exceptional, perfectly complementing the vivid and sharp picture it projects. One of the most impressive features is its array of automatic adjustments, ensuring an optimized viewing experience without the hassle of manual tweaks. To enhance its portability, I paired it with a 50000mAh PD 65W USB C Portable Charger, allowing me the freedom to use it anywhere I please. During a 42-minute session, the projector only consumed around 15% of the portable charger's capacity, indicating an estimated 4.5 hours of continuous usage on a single charge. This reassures me of extended entertainment without worrying about power constraints.

Good quality.
First off, image quality is better than the good old budget projector. I use it primarily but it is not a panel tv killer. I did initially tweak the image setting but now preset works fine mostly in viewing average media contents of medium brightness. I don't recommend it for lots of shadowy horror flicks or gaming if that's what you're into. I do like its sleek built quality, and it is quiet, compact. User interface is Chrome and snappy. Remote quality is good: one touch/manual focus/keystone. Karmon stereo speakers sound very good and Bluetooth compatible, or use the fire stick's which you can connect it to. For around two bills, it is a steal.

Power Connection Failed After Minimal Use – Disappointing Build Quality
Poor build quality – power connection fails after limited use The projector worked well initially, but after around 10 uses, the power plug connection became loose and unreliable. The power cable does not stay firmly connected, and the projector disconnects on its own, causing the video to stop repeatedly. We have to replug the wire multiple times during a single use, which completely ruins the viewing experience. At this point, we’ve stopped using the product altogether because it’s simply not dependable. This is especially disappointing because we originally liked the product and were even considering gifting it to family members, but due to this quality issue, that’s no longer an option. Unfortunately, we are past the return window, so we cannot get a refund. I’m leaving this review so future buyers are aware and hopefully so the product team can address this design/build issue in future versions. For a product at this price point, the power connection should not fail after such limited use.

Almost perfect! Almost....
Using this projector from last 1 month. I can see all the pros and just one con. Pros: 1. Easy to setup 2. Sound quality is awesome for such a small and portable form factor 3. No issues setting up Netflix or any other streaming apps (android based projector) 4. Portable with good software experience - obstacle avoidance, autofocus, auto keystone correction working fine with right distance 5. All good with respect to hardware quality Con: I can just mention one con w.r.t the video quality. Its native 720P projector so cant compare with any 1080p n above as the video looks Pixeleted. I would have preferred if XGIMI could have provided at least 1080p at this price range (rather than spending 200 extra for MOGO 2 pro) Overall, it will be a good buy if you can grab it at lower price and if you dont bother about video quality that much.
