No but I've been using it for awhile now and it's a good tool for the price.

it will damage if you use it for fret ends. you can do it but its better to protect the wood.

Q: What do you replace the sandpaper with when you run out? Is it specially made?

Unfortunately, this tool is for smoothing but not for fixing edges as tweezers for example.
