They don't break and open wide enough to grip around an outdoor dryer thing.

Really useful for thicker items
Although expensive I love these large pegs as they are strong, durable and very useful. I use them to peg out thicker items and to clamp sock hanging dryers to the line. Living in an exposed windy area they are well worth the money!

Useful large pegs in pretty colours
These hold heavy items well. I have a mixture of types of pegs, these have a soft hold, some of the others are useful preventing slipping along the line so as not to waste space, but can leave marks more. It is horses for courses depends what you plan to wash & hang, but I certainly like having these in my peg box.

Large pegs
Easy to use for large items such as sheets and towels on the washing line. They stay on well. I have used these for many years, they last approx 4-5 years before the spring or middle bridge of rubber deteriorates.
