I’ve been using this UPERFECT 18” 144Hz gaming monitor since Christmas, and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. I was a bit unsure at first, having never heard of the brand, but it’s exceeded all expectations.The picture quality is fantastic, sharp, vibrant, and smooth. The refresh rate is excellent, and paired with my Xbox Series X, it performs flawlessly. Colours are rich, the image is crisp, and the motion handling is on par with (if not better than) my ASUS TUF monitor, which was a real surprise.The built-in speakers aren’t amazing, but that’s to be expected with a portable monitor, I use headphones anyway, so it’s more of a bonus feature than a main one. Another bonus is the VESA mount, which is something most monitors this size don’t include. It gave me more flexibility with how I wanted to set it up.The only downside is the menu navigation it’s not the most intuitive to use. But once you’ve set everything up, you won’t need to touch it much, so it’s a minor gripe.Overall, this monitor has delivered above and beyond. If you’re on the fence due to the brand name, don’t be. It’s an absolute gem for gaming and travel.

The picture quality is fantastic and the response time of the monitor is spot on. The HDR works well and the contrast beats many other brands for a much better price. Also comes with the required cables to set up whichever intended use you require.Build quality is good and doesn't feel cheap, the included speakers on the version I chose are great for monitor speakers too, they don't have that echo/tin sound you usually get. Very simple and versatile!Last but not least the customer support is fantastic, I had a few issues due to the courier service and they resolved them quickly. Special mention of Jessie, who was very quick to respond and address my issues, getting them sorted asap.Thanks UPERFECT 😊

Ordered this as it was on discount, within budget, 144Hz refresh. Box was plastic wrapped, as new as it gets. Display itself was defective. 3rd of the panel backlight was broken, for this price was expecting much better QC. Setup a return to send it back. Will need to look at alternatives, cannot buy the montor again at sale prices either. I am sure they make good monitors, just not the one I was sent.Update 22 July 2025. For complete transparency, left my original review above.Monitor replacement works fine using HDMI, with HDMI switch added no issues. Cannot get this working with USB C to MacBook Pro M4. HDMI has zero issues at all, connects to PC + directly to MBP M4. Overall excellent monitor & will be keeping it. Note, ports are on the right side, worth investing in 90 degree cables of adapters if you don't want the cables to stick from the side or right side is near a wall. You can turn screen upside down but for me the bottom bezel is too prominent. Monitor does support rotation settings in menu and refresh of 60hz or 120hz. For my use case, it's a keeper. Support overall is excellent via emails. Will update if I even figure out USB C

So I’ve not used it for gaming yet but picture and text and crisp and clear. It’s thin and light, great where space is a premium though 18” is borderline awkward for portability (will still fit in my laptop rucksack designed for the 16” laptops and folders - not sure that will work for the minimalistic laptop bags)Note that to use usb-c pass through power, this works best with laptops that only expect say 60w of power. The monitor itself looks to accept up to 100w power delivery, seemingly using around 10w and as such if you plugged in a 60w power adapter into the monitor, you will not get 60w from the monitor to the laptop (and therefore may get messages from laptop to use a better power supply).Nicest thing about this monitor (in addition to the screen display quality) is the powering and connectivity options (mini hdmi, usb-c display only or usb-c power and display) though this comes at a cost of the price.Setup was as easy as plug and play on Windows (not tried it on Linux or Mac or Nintendo Switch) but with the mini hdmi, usb-c power input, I don’t expect it to be any issues either

We needed a gaming monitor to be small enough to fit 2 on our dining table, but a bit larger than a typical laptop screen, and easy to stow away when required. There isn't much available with standard monitors below 24", so these 18" portable screens are just right. I also found a minimal aluminium stand for the perfect setup.The screen is plenty bright enough for us and at full 2560x1600@144Hz over a DP1.4 to USB-C bidirectional cable, the picture looks amazing! There are obviously no issues when using the supplied additional USB-C power, but I'm currently getting good results from a Delock 61059, to allow video and power over 1 cable, using a 0.5m DP2.1 cable from the GPU and a 1m USB-C extension to the monitor. This single cable setup is very picky with cable type, cable length and power adapters, so I wouldn't rely on getting this to work, but you might get lucky.Overall, I am very pleased with these monitors!
