HOKA Men's Running Shoes

Brilliant trainers. Next step up from Sketchers. Which are obviously always good. But these are more comfortable. One thing beware sizing. Go one size up if you have wide feet.

I recently purchased the Hoka Clifton 9, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! From the moment I slipped them on, I was impressed by how incredibly light they felt. It’s like running on clouds! These shoes offer exceptional cushioning, making my runs not only more enjoyable but also comfortable. I’ve worn them for both short and long distances, and they provide the perfect balance of support without feeling heavy. My feet feel great even after extended wear, and I love that I can focus on my run without any discomfort. If you’re looking for running shoes that are lightweight and extremely comfortable, I highly recommend giving the Hoka Clifton 9 a try. They’ve definitely earned a permanent spot in my running routine!

These shoes are very lightweight weight and comfortable. I love how the heels are very cushioned. Unfortunately for me the shoes were not wide enough. They're standard, or medium width D. Trying them around the house they felt fine. However after the return date I found that they hurt one of my feet that's apparently extra wide. So my advice is since these are synthetic materials that will not stretch, make very sure of not only the length, but the width as well. I'm not sure you can get these in wider widths as far as I can tell.

Soft and comfortable

My first pair of Cliftons, my first pair of Hoka One Ones, my first pair of quality, properly fitted running shoes, was a pair of Hoka Clifton 4s, when I was a fresh faced lad of 65, with less than a year of parkrun experience behind me. Being a pensioner, and having the watch the pennies, I've stuck with Hoka because they have proved consistently exemplary. I'm especially enthusiastic when it comes to Cliftons and I love this latest iteration. For the record, I alternate them with pairs of Clifton 9, Rincon 3, Mach 5 and Carbon X3.
