We originally ordered this for a Halloween costume for our 2.5 yo son but tbh he has had so much fun at home with it that it makes it that much more worth it. He's short for his age (around 3 ft) and the jacket definitely is long, but a cute long (not an overly huge going to trip long). All we had to do was roll up the sleeves and he was good to go. The material is surprisingly durable and has a quality feel to it. The hat has an adjustable ring on the inside and the costume also comes with a plastic fire extinguisher, ax and an ID tag that loops around their neck.We took away the tag - moreso for overprotective parent moments (he wanted to sleep with it around his neck - big NOPE). So far he's played firefighter at least once a day since he's gotten it. Definitely worth it from our perspective - one of the better pretend play costumes that will grow with him that we've seen!

I purchased this dress up/pretend box for my grandchildren and they loved it. It has kept them entertained and their imagination engaged. I appreciated the quality of the items. These are well made and will last a long time.

My 3YO loves this costumer, nowhere near Halloween yet and he won't take it off.- Pros. Lightweight coat (we're in Hawaii) so it breathes well, and is washable. Also the coat is very reflective (perfect for Halloween night). Helmet has a cool visor. The axe apparently (per my 3YO) works on everything in the house, including walls, cabinet doors, windows, etc (thankfully it's plastic!!).- Cons. The helmet clear plastic visor is a little cheap and the visor pops off a lot (plastic bolts pop out), and the water bottle leaked after a few dozen pumps, however:Born Toys said they're revising the helmet, and since they gave me a full refund (without having to return mind you) I will buy the new model once it's available, and I can patch the fire bottle myself. Their customer service and accepting feedback to make their products better is absolutely unbelievable.So 4 stars for the product, and 6 for their service = 5 star average.p.s. I added black cargo pants and snow boots (black with yellow stripe) to this costume to complete the look, and my little dude looks crazy cute!

Love this little firefighter set!It’s high quality & comes in it’s own clear backpack to keep it all together.Currently my 21 month old’s grandson’s fav component is the mini fire extinguisher 🧯 it’s completely adorable & works well! Although he hasn’t mastered the squeeze mechanism yet, we have a lot of fun in the garden with me squirting him.There’s a pressure pump that works quite well, providing a nice stream that travels quite far!The jacket has nice reflective tape & pockets for his mine axe & even has a nice FF badge attached to the upper pocket.The axe 🪓 is made from fairly thick rubberized plastic with a nice feel to it.It doesn’t some with pants, but the jacket comes down pretty far (roll the sleeves as still still quite small). Purchased Western Chief’s rubber FF rain boots to complete his PPE’s. It all looks great & he likes it!

First off, this costume is adorable and my 4 year old grandson was beyond excited to receive it and put it on. I loved that it had so many pieces included. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the face shield on the helmet broke almost immediately at one hinge. We ended up just pulling the other side off. He was the most excited about the water shooting fire extinguisher (as you can imagine), but it had a hole mid way down and we had to fix it with gorilla tape before it would hold water. Small issues, but they did stop me from giving it 5 stars. We would buy again and recommend, however, as the rest of the pieces seem to be great quality and made our kiddo very happy.

I was very impressed by this fireman costume. My son is only 2 and a half and I bought it for a Halloween costume knowing it might be a little big for him but I wanted him to also be able to use it again later for play. I researched a lot of Fireman sets for kids and I think this one is the nicest. It comes in a backpack where I can store it with his toys now, and it has so many accessories all of which my son loves. Also, the fire extinguishers can squirt water and we were impressed by how well made it was. The other objects too are sturdy and well made. Overall it is a great fireman set which I highly recommend.

Great costumes... mostly durable. Good size. Nice variety in this set.

Kids enjoy dressing up! It was a Christmas gift for our daughter but she lets her friends wear it too.
