Well designed and constructed to withstand the typical 50 psi back pressure in a water supply system.

INFERIOR ITEM WILL BREAK !! I am a water well driller. I started buying these check valves not long ago to save a few bucks on each. I started having issues with them and compared them to another check valve made by another company. The shaft on these is very small (less than 1/8”) and it will break under normal pressure. It has 2 very small nuts on it that will break off when tightened or just come loose under normal use. The better made check valve has a solid 1/4” shaft that will not break and a single 1/4” nut. This has cost me thousands of dollars in repair trips and lost work that will never be made up.

Good value. Works as advertised. Holds well pressure for days. Come back and turn pump on and don’t have to prime it first. Great!
