LOVE!! Been wanting to learn this language for a while now and nothing ever helped me stick with it but this book helps me stay on track and actually learn the material. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Good book on the Korean language, can learn some basic words and phrases!!!!

I bought this workbook to help my Korean-American friend who's taking Korean classes at school but wanted a Korean drill book, and it's been a tremendous help (we're half-way through the book) in her Korean study! The best part is its wide spectrum of questions, such as alphabet puzzles and word-picture matching questions, and it adds fun to what might be an arduous, boring task. Although it's not a text book that teaches the bascis of Korean grammar from A to Z, they put some effort in briefly explaining the grammatical part of the study. Of course, you would need a textbook to learn it in depth - this workbook does a nice job of complementing what you learn from a textbook. One word of caution though - for some of the questions, especially for reading questions, you will be expected to open up a Korean dictionary because it doesn't have English translation, which I believe is deliberaterly designed so, to help us learn the vocabulary on our own. My one suggestion for the next edition of the book will be adding some coverage on conversations and expressions, maybe with some audio support. Hope you all can master Korean!

Very helpful book just need to find the time to study

As many comments have emphasized, this book isn’t necessarily for a beginner. However, using it in Conjunction with an actual textbook might make it better than just winging it. Do I regret my purchase, maybe a little, but it wasn’t too expensive for me to roll on the ground in pity. In conclusion, Poorly explained concepts with repetitive questions, you will learn something, just don’t expect a lot.

This workbook is in my opinion very well made. It’s easy to understand for beginners like me. It talks about the basic things you need to learn in Korean. The workbook teaches you grammars, vocab, and so much more to build a foundation of the Korean language. 👍

Ho guardato con Kindle il libro è mi è piaciuto al punto che ho rinunciato alla versione online per acquistare quella cartacea. è un libro completamente di esercizi grammaticali, contiene le soluzioni quindi risulta facile la verifica degli esercizi. ben fatto. stile allegro. adatto a principianti e intermedio

Will help u to practice ur Hangeul if u can not practice with someone. Also will help u become more fluent n clearer with d language.

La verdad es que después de haber empezado a usar este libro, me resulta imposible entender la buena valoración que tiene aquí, como no sea porque la editorial se dedica a "buscar" buenas reseñas. El libro es completamente inservible para estudiar coreano. La primera en la frente: no enseña todas las vocales (ㅐyㅔ, por ejemplo, están ausentes del listado y de los ejercicios de caligrafía, así como los diptongos con ㅜ y ㅗ en general, véase la foto), pero después sí necesitas las vocales no enseñadas para responder a las preguntas sobre el alfabeto. Las explicaciones gramaticales son pobres, confusas e incluso erróneas (por poner solo una perlita, según ellos la partícula de objeto se pone detrás del... sujeto?! Se puede ver en la foto que adjunto). Los ejercicios no se corresponden en absoluto con el nivel de lo explicado. Por ejemplo, después de explicar solo (y mal) el alfabeto y las partículas de sujeto, tema y objeto (sin explicar, por cierto, la diferencia entre la de sujeto y tema, que es uno de los puntos más difíciles para los estudiantes de coreano), te lanza a hacer unos ejercicios en plan "ordena estas palabras para crear oraciones... sin tener el estudiante ni idea de lo que significan las palabras (!!). Tampoco se explica ni una palabra sobre los cambios fonéticos por combinaciones de letras, que son otro de los temas difíciles para los estudiantes. En fin, un desastre.
