Q: Im looking to buy a few of these for a Nikon D3s, do they accurately show battery level in camera and perform like genuine batteries?

I bought one for a D3s, first ever non branded battery I have ever bought and it’s been great, no problems at all

Q: does this give the D700 the extra frames per second?

This is for the d2-d3 series not d700. I have a d700 with mb-10 battery grip and you only get the extra fps if you use aa batteries in the grip. Makes it too heavy IMO and I use an extra en-el3 in mine. This battery works great in my d2hs however and that body is quick!
