Well designed and good looking wheelchair
I have taken delivery of this chair this morning. It has taken just two days to get here, and was well packaged, fully assembled apart from the foot rests, and just needed to be opened out from its collapsed position. It looks like a really good, well designed product. There is a brief user manual but everything is very intuitive and easy to use. The foot rests swing inwards, which is good when parking as fewer trip hazards, or outwards and lift off easily. The quick release wheels also remove easily. Adjusting the height of the foot rests was slightly more difficult, but needs doing once and wasn't a problem.I bought this chair because it seemed a bit less bulky than others, less fussy in its design, and I am pleased with the way it looks, as it looks neat and clean lines. The colour is great, a metallic red.I don't know how the chair will perform, but will post an update or answer a question. Many parts are plastic so we will see. I spoke to the supplier on the phone before I purchased and they were very helpful and knowledgeable, and this was another reason to buy from them, as I feel like they would be helpful if any problems did arise. The chair is light and easy to manouvre about the house, but not so light that I can lift it in to the car myself, due to my health and mobility problems, but my partner seems to manage quite easily. There are no assistant brakes, or cushion, although the seat and back rest are slightly padded, and no lap belt, which I have ordered separately.I bought this as a first wheelchair to enable me to get out a bit more, not necessarily for continuous everyday use, so will see how it performs but first impressions are good.

Very comfortable
I haven't used this chair yet for more than a trip around the living room, but so far it seems very comfortable, very well made. I felt like a kid getting a new bike when my husband unboxed the chair. The colour (red) is gorgeous, the seat is roomy & the ride seems very smooth. I bought it because my old chair, apart from being an absolute clunker & bone shaker, didn't fit into the boot of our Motability car, the easy release wheels on this chair makes it easy to store. But in reality it was just the push (no pun) I needed to get a new chair. I'm delighted with this chair, it's great value for money.

Amazing Value. Unbeatable for the price. Strong and good looking - unlike the owner!
I have no hesitation in endorsing all the positive reviews of this wheelchair. Mine arrived in record time despite the Xmas holiday business closure days. It didn't need constructing - I was fearing a flat-pack peril which I have come to call AA meaning Allen keys & Arguments! Everything about it is logical and well designed. It's 2" (5cm) narrower than my high quality NHS wheelchair. I needed one that would go through narrow doorways which my NHS chair won't without getting out of it and folding it. This one is perfect and still has enough width in the seat for my hips. There are two things that I could criticize but before I do - may I just say the construction is excellent, ie build quality top grade. Folding ability very good. Comfortable ride considering it has solid tyres - they are as firm as pneumatic tyres pumped up to 115psi. It runs and steers superbly. Now for the two things that I found could be improved. There are no clip-on stabilizers at the back so nothing to prevent the chair tipping over backwards on a steep ramp. There are just two rubber foot stubs to aid tilting by a handler pushing behind. The second omission was the wheel hubs. I removed them by the proper quick-release method and found the spindles, bearings, and spring ball latches were bone dry. Solution - out with the tin of axle grease from my garage - smear some on the shafts; ball bearing latches and replaced the wheel to 'lock' state and spun it. Job done. You could use WD40 or similar but that would need doing more regularly. It was a bit surprising the chair didn't come with wheel axles ready lubed. But I can't deduct a star for that because this chair is value+ and even gets free delivery from where it was sold. So I can recommend this to anyone who wants a decent chair at a very kind price. Bear in mind that the main wheels are a little smaller diameter than some wheelchairs and so it does require a bit more arm/hand effort to propel. We have to bear in mind that if I wanted to buy my NHS chair new (made in Germany) it would be at least 3 times the price of this one. I hope this is helpful to others.

Surprisingly well made for a very reasonable price
As someone with a long term disability after a Rugby accident, I know how expensive most disability equipment is. Need to purchase this for emergency use upstairs to avoid needing to take my normal fixed frame active wheelchair up and down stairs, so only wanted something basic but serviceable. This chair is commendably well made and quite flexible. It folds easily and with both armrests and main wheels removed, is light enough to be carried reasonably easily and lifted into a car boot.I’m 6’3” and around 95kg and it seem more than robust enough for casual use.It was delivered quickly and was very easy to put together.Highly recommended, especially for the price.EDITWhile it’s still OK, I need to point out that after 6 weeks use only indoors, the left hand brake has the tendency to ‘self disassemble’ because the bolts holding it together keep undoing themselves and need constant tightening. Without this it would literally have fallen apart.
