Excellent for my LG Fridge
I've had many filter brands over the years, a lot of them don't remove all the water taste or may put black bits of carbon into the water unless the pressure is turned right down. These are excellent, filters the water really well and I don't need to reduce the water pressure.

Excellent water filter
Excellent water filter, I once purchased an original manufacturers filter for 3 times the price and this does exactly the same, very easy to fit and remove as long as you follow the instructions. Make sure you allow several litres to flow through the filter into a bucket to rinse through any charcoal residue inside it (this is normal as these are charcoal filters).

Good filter at a good price
Good filter at a good price. We have bought 2 of these, one for a side-by-side fridge and the other for an under the sink system.I have never used these before but found myself needing 2 when we moved into a new house.Installation is very easy, you just need to watch the video on Amazon or the manufacturer's website. Make sure you note the direction of flow before you take out the old filters and the rest is exactly as shown in the video. You need to attach the in-flow end first i.e. the mains side, then the manufacturer recommends that you wash out any carbon residue by allowing 3 - 4 liters of water to flow into a container before you attach the out-flow pipe i.e. the pipe to the tap or the fridge but I threw away the first 7 - 8 liters of water before attaching the out flow just to be on the safe side. This filter does make the water taste much better than tap water but doesnt completely get rid of the excess calcium if you live in a hard water area like we do. You will need a water softener for that purpose.

There are better filters
I am in a quandry... Water never tasted better than with the original filter I got with my LG fridge. Many people insist they are all the same. They are not. The LG original is far superior, however, whenever I type in the model number I get third parts inferior products. I would happily pay £50 for another one if I could find it. They were that good. This is just, OK. Water clean, makes some black particles, but this is expected.

Just what she wanted!
I ordered these for my friend. They were just what she wanted and very reasonably priced. The store where she bought the fridge/freezer no longer stocked these cartridges and it was only a year old, so she bought 2 - one as a spare. Also she didn't have to carry them home, I ordered them to be delivered to her address on Amazon Prime for free! She has mobility problems and was thrilled with every aspect of the order. Thanks.

Samsung american fridge.
Bought one last April for my Samsung American fridge. Last exactly 6 months until the filter light indicated for it to be changed as described. Great price compared to electrical appliance stores. Bout two this time which will do till this time next year. Excellent product and delivered in good time. Will buy again.
