CAFEC Sanyo PFD-4 Flower Dripper, CUP 4 Clear

Great for brewing fruity coffee (Natural, Alt Fermented).

I am very happy with it. Along with the Cafec Abaca paper filters, it delivers a wonderful cup of coffee. Inexpensive, and it won't crack or break like the glass or ceramic cones. It sits securely on any cup I have tried it with.

I like the CAFEC's, but I would avoid the plastic one. While it is nice to be able to see the fluid level in the cup, especially if you're not taking measurements, I have concerns with the plastic model. I have two of these and after a few years of use both plastic drippers are covered in microfractures, likely due to thermal expansion. This has me concerned about plastics leeching into my drinks. I'll be opting for porcelain or glass going forward.

As a long time V60 user, I am really enjoying the Cafec Flower dripper. Even with the same filters as the V60, I feel like I'm choking the filter much less, and am getting very consistent brews with less effort. My downdraws have been much more predictable, even when changing to a new coffee bean.

I have used V60 a lot in my daily pour over routine. This is a very nice alternative. The shape of the ridge in the dripper is not for visual effect but an interesting design to avoid clogging due to fines. The flow rate seems to be slightly faster than V60 (just a few observation) but I can see the filter paper is not clinging to the wall tightly, which provide much more side surface for smooth/faster draining. It takes a V02 filter and has produced several cups that surpassed what I usually get from my V60 daily routine. Thumbs up!!

Not any better than the Hario V-60. If you’ve got a V-60, you don’t need this.

I have been a hardcore Hario V60 user for years. I noticed that Hario's V60 filter had changed, and learned that Sanyo was a supplier for original filter and Hario changed their supplier to other companies. I was curious so I did some research and leaned that Sanyo makes their own coffee dripper... I had to try and see how this works. I really like it. This flower pedal design forms the paper filter to specific shape when you pour hot water. I like how my coffee is now. I liked it before but I like it better. I got this plastic version for this time, but I am planning to purchase ceramic version.

I ordered the plastic 1-4 cup cone brewer and wanted to know if it was BPA free. A spokesperson for the company wrote back and said it was BPA free. BTW, this size is good for an 8 oz size cup (10 oz of water), but can be used for a larger 12 oz mug. Just add more coffee and slowly add more water so it doesn't overflow the top.

このタイプのドリッパーは使ったことがなかったのですが、コーヒーペーパーのタイプを間違えて注文してしまったため、泥縄ではないですが、そのペーパーを使うために買いました 結果；従来タイプと比べてお湯の抜けがよいのか、比較的少ないグランド済みの豆で多くのコーヒーを手早く抽出することができるという印象です。よく沸かしたお湯を用いて、豆2杯ちょっとでスタバのタンブラー、グランデサイズいっぱいをえぐみがでないうちに抽出できました。コーヒーのおいしさもよく出ていると思います。

この「フラワードリッパー」は本当に綺麗なドームが出来ます。 ◼︎少量（1杯どり）にも対応 画像は2−4杯用PFD-4で1杯200cc分14g中挽きを蒸らしてるところですが 少量、1杯分の量でもこの通り綺麗に膨らみます。因みにコレ冷凍保存した豆です。 ドームが綺麗に出来ると多少乱暴に注いでも崩れにくいので その後の注湯がやりやすい。 そして何よりドリップが楽しくなる！笑 ◼︎じっくり抽出でコクのある抽出が出来る。 この商品はあっさり抽出向けと思われるかもですが 注湯をじっくりやれば雑味を抑えながらコクのある抽出もできます。 いかに雑味が抑えられてるかは カリタなんかと飲み比べるとわかりやすいです。 ドームが綺麗に出来るおかげで調整し易いですね。 見てるだけでも綺麗で使うのが楽しい商品ですが、 使い勝手も抽出したコーヒーの味もとても気に入りました！

プラスチックだけど、バカラグラスみたいな厚みのある美しいクリスタルドリッパーって感じ。つくりや仕上げもいいから置いとくだけでもカッコイイので買う価値ありだと思う。高級なプラスチック。丈夫そう。 深煎りのキリマンジャロが香りそのままにマイルドにのめるって印象かな。v60をはじめとして、今まで色んなドリッパーを試したけど、こんなに違いがはっきり出たのは初めて。趣向品なので、好みは人それぞれだと思うので万人におすすめとは言えないけど、同じ豆で気分で味を変えて楽しむには変化がハッキリしているからいいと思う。そういう意味では、おすすめ。
