rOtring1904691 Tikky Colour-Coded Mechanical Pencil - Burgundy Barrel - 0.50 mm

I've been using Rotring products for 40 years and their pens are second to none. As an aspiring artist I'm always on the lookout for new techniques and mechanical pencils appear to be in use now more than ever. I therefore was pleased to see that Rotring had a range of Tikky mechanical pencils and I bought one. It's well made, an excellent product, and surprisingly low cost. I was also pleased to see there's a variety of leads (not just HB) though there's no need to stick to Rotring for these.I now have several of these pencils dotted around for use on different projects. Overall it's cheaper to buy one of these pencils (which comes with some spare leads) than buying a top rate artists pencil (like a Derwent product). Highly recommended.

This is the best mechanical pencil that I've used. Really happy with it.

Bought for me but my daughter is using it instead for school. I can't get near it anymore!

I have had at least three of these (they don't go wrong I just keep losing them). They are really well made and very reliable. Also the right size for fitting into a notebook.

Excellent value for money. Well balanced without being too heavy and feels robust and sturdy. Writes very easily and the pop action of the lead is very smooth

Son prefers these for school rather than standard pencils or single use plastic Bic/supermarkets' own brand multipacks. He's quite a small writer so they're definitely better than a blunt pencil. Recommend the Pentel Hi-Polymer Ain 0.5mm leads to use with it - pack of 40 leads available on Amazon - have bought 3 times.

Not nearly as nice as my graphgear 1000 but at 1/5 the price i can't complain. works well enough.good pencil. chap.

Good quality, has the right amount of weight, same color as ordered and good packaging. Also heard that this pencil lasts for years.
