A valuable tool
I've found the Bear Tools tool safety lanyard to be quite a handy accessory for anyone who frequently works at heights. It's particularly useful for securely attaching small hand tools, which helps prevent accidental drops that could cause injury or damage. The lanyard is surprisingly lightweight, yet it feels strong and durable, instilling confidence in its use.One of the features I appreciate the most is the coiled cable design. This design choice makes it easier to move around with the tool without getting tangled up, a common issue with traditional lanyards. The two differently sized clips on either end of the lanyard are well-sprung and secure, ensuring a firm attachment to both the tool and an anchor point, such as a ladder or tool belt. It's rated for tools up to 0.9 kg, making it ideal for lighter tools like screwdrivers or pliers. However, I'm always cautious not to exceed this weight limit to maintain the lanyard's integrity and safety. The bright colour of the lanyard also helps in keeping it visible, which I find adds to the overall safety aspect. While I generally find it reliable, I think it's important to consider the lanyard's weight limit and test it with different tools in various scenarios to ensure it meets specific needs. In terms of price, I feel it offers good value for its quality and the added safety it provides.Overall, the Bear Tools tool safety lanyard is a solid choice for enhancing safety and efficiency when working at elevated positions. It's a practical tool that I find quite valuable in preventing potential accidents.

Excellent quality lanyard for the safety conscious, and an essential part of your tool kit.
BearTOOLS make a range of excellent quality lanyards, and this one is perfect for smaller tools, such as pliers, cutters, spanners, screwdrivers etc. The maximum recommended weight is 0.9kg. The cable is coiled which means it is easier to work with than a longer lanyard without getting tangled. With different sized sprung carabiners on each end, there are several ways you can attach to your person, ladder or tool belt.I am on a team that installs AV equipment. Safety procedures on site require that when using step ladders, someone has to hold them. I have become very aware of the dangers of dropping tools on my colleagues, even though we all wear hard hats. (And of course, I do not want to drop a set of Knipex VDE pliers on the floor!)Whatever option you choose, I feel this is a responsible and secure way of tool handling at a height. it not only protects tools from damage, but more importantly protects your colleagues and promotes an accident free environment.

BearTOOLS Cable Loop Attachment (3 Pack T15YSL-3)
Lots of small hand tools come with built in eye in the handle, but unfortunately they are usually not large enough to be able to attach to a lanyard or karabiner. This little 3 pack of cable loops solves that problem. In the pack you get 3 small wire loops that have a simple metal screw thread that you undo, enabling you to pass it through the eye of the tool or other item before doing it back up again. You can then use the larger wire loop to attach to a lanyard to prevent dropping tools when working at heights, or to simply secure them to your person so that you don’t lose them.***** In The Box *****3 x Wire Loops***** Conclusion *****I’m pretty pleased with these little loops from BearTOOLS.They are a very simple product, but work very well for small items (the maximum safe load is 2lbs or just under 1kg.I like that you get 3 in a pack, but i do feel the price seems just a little expensive for such a simple product.

Top Quality, Lightweight and Strong
I am impressed with the quality and very obvious strong durability of this Bear Tools tool safety lanyard, The lanyard is quite light weighted and meant for preventing accidents should you accidentally drop your small hand tool whilst working at height. The lanyard itself feels strong and durable as are the two different sized clips on each end, these firmly sprung clips are well designed so they can only open inwards thus preventing them from springing open should they catch on things if they were to fall. This is perfect for both DIY uses and professional trade people, it comes with detailed instructions which are written on good quality card and in clear and concise English, I cannot rate this product highly enough for its quality and I am certain you will not be disappointed or let down with its workmanshipThank you for reading my honest review, I hope you find it helpful.

Simply too expensive
This review is for the BearTOOLS Cable Loop Attachment - Wire Tool Loop Tail - Wire Key Chain - Key Ring Loop With Screw Gate - For Hanging Luggage Tags or Hand Tools - Screw Closure - Rated to 2 lbs/0.9 kg (3) (3)£10.25 at the time of review. These little loops have a lot of possibilities for using them and not just for tools. They are 6¼ inches long (16cms) when fully opened with and approx. 2” (5cm) internal diameter when closed. On the downside though, the 2lb breaking strain limits the weight the can hold, although it is the same as other cables like this. The price is another point loser and I think these 3 cable loops are vastly over-priced. A quick search on Amazon reveals a much larger range of options with the majority offering more loops for less money. I know these are supposed to have a luminous PU coating but if that has added to cost, then it should be removed as the benefit of this doesn’t balance out in my opinion. The price is the real defining factor for me though, so 3 stars and I don’t think the brand tags add anything either.

Handy for hand tools, used with bearTOOLs lanyards
These are great to attach to your hand tools when working at height. I attached them to my screwdrivers when working on a scaffold tower to stop them falling if i drop them by accident. They are easy to attach and then you just clip them to your bearTOOLS lanyard (sold separately) to secure them to yourself
