Perfect Addition to my AR-15
I was looking for a scope with a few key criteria. The build is a KE Arms lightweight, AR Stoner type project build…5.75 lb. The intended purpose of this rifle is be able to deploy quickly based on a 36 yard zero.It also…1. had to be affordable2. had to be compact3. have a good FOV4. has to hold zero5. has to play well with a 36 yard zeroThis lil Monstrum prism scope accomplishes all of that for me on my build. Only thing to note is that the optic with mount is slightly heavier than expected which in reality is a good thing because it feels very solid. Also has the parallax adjustment which is a great touch.Highly recommended. Btw I purchased the BDC reticle.

Perfect for a pistol caliber rifle
Mounted on a .357 lever action - 6+ inches of eye relief, low enough to not need a cheek pad, 4x power matches capability of the round. Flip up lens caps, appears to be very strongly built. Comes with everything needed for a rail or weaver mount. Looks like it can be removed and remounted without seriously disturbing the zero. If you're looking for a fixed power, 100-200 yard scope, this is the one.

NOT a Prism scope
People, stop saying it is something it is NOT!!! I checked with Monstrum and it is NOT a Prism scope.Stop saying it is a PRISM Scope!!!That being said, it seems way over priced for a 4X scope. The center dot on the MX1 reticle is 2 MOA or larger. The image shown would suggest it is smaller than 2 MOA, it is not. Not good.I wet back to my cheap Walmart Barska 3-9x32 scope and like it much more than this 4x30.NOT A PRISM SCOPE!!!There is one good thing, the eye relief is good, probably not 6" good, but good. With the correct rings it worked on my RS22. Would be okay for steel targets, just not good for 1" target at 50 yards.

Moa tics are wrong
Moa tics are 4 moa per tick not 1moa as advertised, return to zero is good scope is durable and clear holds zero on a 45-70 lever gun

Extremely nice scope for the price point
This is a very solid optic for the price-point. I wanted something I could throw on a PSA GF3 that I bought just for fun. This thing is sturdy, quite hefty, appears to hold zero, and the illumination is quite nice. The reticle is a take it or leave it affair. I enjoy it for quick target acquisition, which I think is its design, but it is by no means a precision affair. The knobs feel heavy, which is good as they're not likely to slip unintentionally. The illumination gets pretty bright, though still a bit dim in bright sunlight. If you're looking for an inexpensive fixed power optic, this is a great option. Be aware of what you're buying -- this isn't a Vortex or Night Force. The glass is good, but at 4x glass makes less difference than it would for a long-range PRS scope. No noticeable parallax or fish-eye, reasonably bright and clear.

Better than I hoped!
I was pleasantly surprised that the mounts were included with the scope as I didn’t see that mentioned in the description! This mounts easily, is easy to zero and holds zero. It has a simple, easy to use redical and the redical visible even without power. This is PERFECT for those with astigmatism! There’s no blurring. 4X magnification is excellent for work at 100 yds.
