Great purchase, but not as good as its predecessor!
Great iron, tackles tough creases and glides well! This is a replacement for an older model of the same spec. I did find the older azure (red/black) iron to be a lot more steamy by default! lol! I feel this one needs the shot steam to keep up.. also the cord isn’t as long as its predecessor. 4 stars!

Shortest cable on an iron I've seen.
Not the best iron I've used. This definitely hasn't lasted as long as previous irons. And it definitely sticks. This comes with the shortest of cables. It takes such a long time to cool down. Just had to stop using it as it started to smoke today. Maybe I got a faulty one, who knows. But I do know I won't be purchasing from the brand in the future due to my experience with this iron.

Favorite iron!
Great quality, irons well. Heavy but no too heavy. Good selection of settings.

Philips, how short do you plan on making this cable?
The iron overall has a nice feel to it and smoothly glides over my shirts. That is until the point I almost pull the plug from the wall. The cable is 185cm, IT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH!!!!! My previous Philips iron an Azure Performer Plus had a much more comfortable 250cm of cable. The iron before that a Philips Powerlife, had 240cm of cable. The iron before that a Philips GC3330 had 3 full glorious meters of cable (Don't ask why I still have a cupboard full of old irons to measure). If my plug socket was nearer the skirting board instead of being a foot off the floor I'd be struggling to reach the end of the ironing board. Get your act together Philips, if you need to charge a little extra for some more cable, then do it. Unless your next iron is going to be wireless get back to putting a longer cable on the thing.

Decent iron but signs of cost cutting....
Replacing a Phillips Azur GC4567. Pretty much the same, other than this one is 2800w instead of 2600w. There are signs of cost cutting though. The cable is only 2m instead of 2.5m & no water jug. Temperature dial used to be rubberised, now it’s just hard plastic and harder to grip. The packaging is only just sturdy enough to survive delivery via mail order, wasn't in great shape when it arrived, but no damage to the iron..
