Can it be used to keep my coffee hot?

Yes, the bottle is well insulated and will keep drinks hot. However, we recommend our 26oz Flex Lid for hot drinks. The shaker lid is not ideal for hot drinks as the pressure from the steam of the hot coffee could cause the pop top to pop open.

What about the odor, does it really passes the test?

Yes, these do fantastic with not holding an odor after cleaning!

Has anyone tried the other lid style (flex lid)? Does it leak when shaking? The original lids can be difficult to clean properly.
