Highly recommended, great quality. Wish it came in a few more colours, but that's my only niggle.
Having used the PITAKA Mag Folio case for both my iPad Pro 12.9" and my new iPad Air 13", I can confidently say this is one of the best cases on the market. My biggest frustration with the Apple official folio was the lack of ability to use it in portrait mode. The premium leather-like finish, strong magnetic attachment, and versatile viewing angles make it a standout choice. In addition, unlike the Apple official, this one won’t get lint and fingerprints stuck on it! Design & Build Quality The first thing you notice is the exceptional leather-like texture. It feels high-end and well-crafted, giving the iPad a sophisticated look without adding unnecessary bulk. The case maintains a minimalist profile, yet it’s thick enough to provide solid protection. PITAKA’s packaging is also top-notch, reinforcing the premium feel of the product. Magnetic Attachment & Security One of my biggest concerns with magnetic cases is whether they’ll securely hold my iPad in place—this case absolutely does. I’ve attached my iPad and even waved the case around, and the magnets are impressively strong, ensuring it stays firmly in place. This provides great peace of mind, especially when using the iPad on the go. Check out my image showing me hanging the iPad on the magnets! Viewing Angles & Usability This case truly shines with its multiple sturdy viewing angles. Unlike Apple's official case, as mentioned above, which has limited viewing options, PITAKA’s case offers versatile positions, including a much-needed portrait mode. I often use my iPad in bed, propping it up on a pillow, and this case makes that effortless. The stand is solid and doesn’t collapse under pressure, which is a huge plus. Apple Pencil Integration While I don’t always keep an Apple Pencil attached, I appreciate that the case includes a flap to secure the pencil and also acts as a front cover lock. It adds extra security when carrying the iPad. What Could Be Better? More Color Options: Right now, it’s limited to black, blue, and white. It would be great to see colors that complement the iPad Air lineup. Better yet - if there could be a similar offering to their aramid fibre colours (perhaps too big an ask - literally - but I'd probably be willing to pay the premium!). Yes, I know back plates are already available in aramid, but a full folio case would be amazing, especially in the new PTK colours. Final Thoughts PITAKA has done an excellent job with this case. It’s premium, protective, and practical, offering strong magnets, multiple viewing angles, and high-quality materials. The security of the Apple Pencil, sturdy stand positions, and sleek design make it a must-have for iPad users looking for a refined case. If you can look past the limited color options and the non-removable pencil flap, this case is a fantastic choice.

Excellent product quality and design
The material feels premium and very well made, offering great protection without adding bulk. The build quality is immediately noticeable. Both horizontal and vertical stand positions work flawlessly and feel very stable, making it perfect for work, reading, and media consumption. The magnetic hold is strong and reliable. Overall, a high-quality case that fully meets expectations — recommended.

Top quality as always
I've been a fan of PITAKA products for years, so when I upgraded to the 2024 iPad Pro, I knew I had to get their MagEZ Folio 2. This case is everything I was looking for and more! The magnetic attachment is incredibly strong, snapping onto the iPad Pro securely and offering dual-side protection that keeps my device safe from scratches and dings. The case is also slim and lightweight, making it easy to carry around without adding any bulk. The four placement angles are a game changer, allowing me to adjust the viewing angle for everything from writing to streaming. The stand is stable in both vertical and horizontal orientations, so I never have to worry about it toppling over. Another standout feature is the auto wake/sleep function, which makes it super convenient to just slide open the case and have my iPad ready to go. The magnetic clasp keeps my Apple Pencil securely in place, which is a nice bonus since I’ve had issues with other cases where the pencil would fall off. Overall, this iPad case is worth every penny. It’s sleek, functional, and offers top-notch protection. If you have the 2024 iPad Pro, this is the perfect companion for it. Cannot fault. Highly recommended to all!

Going Strong 2 Months In!
I exclusively use Pitaka cases for my personal phones but haven't owned an iPad for about 2 years. I tried 2 other brands before finally settling on this cover for my 2024 iPad and without doubt this case blows both of those brands out of the water. Pros- • Strong magnet that holds the iPad to the case securely. • Fairly lightweight and not overly cumbersome. • Have not dropped it but between the screen protector and the case the iPad will be protected. • Multiple orientation stands when front cover is flipped. • Inner microfibre lining is soft to touch and thin enough to accomodate screen protector. • PU leather is very easy to clean. Cons- • Cost. This will always be a factor with Pitaka products. Having said that good quality rarely comes cheap. • Magnet for pencil sleeve could be a bit stronger. I've had this case now for about 2 months and because I use my iPad everyday I think I'm at a point to do a comprehensive review. The previous brands I bought do not match up to Pitaka in any way. When orienting the iPad in the various positions, the case holds itself together and the different segments don't flop around and detach from one another as they did on the other brands. When Pitaka say that the magnets are strong, they are really strong! Speaking of magnets, the ones holding the iPad to the case are incredibly strong. So much so that I wasn't afraid to test this theory out by holding the front cover and letting the iPad dangle. I shook it around trying to get it to detach but that sucker just held on without breaking a sweat. The magnet on the pencil sleeve however is not as strong, but I think there is a limitation on this as it would affect how the screen operates. I'm on record as saying that I'm a Pitaka fanboy and this is simply because their products prove time and time again that they are of the highest quality. All of my Apple devices are protected by Pitaka cases, and for 6 years now I've been checking for Pitaka protective products for all my portable electronic devices. I've yet to be let down in terms of build, technological advancements and practicality of use. I highly recommend this case for your M4 iPad if you need something to last as long as your ownership of the iPad.

Simply the best case for your iPad mini (and I believe it fits other models as well). High-quality material and a perfect fit—it’s clear the measurements are spot on. The magnetic closure is reliable, your pencil stays secure, and it’s comfortable to hold for long periods.

In the world of “folio” style iPad cases, the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 for iPad Pro is a breath of fresh air. After using Apple’s Smart Folio for years I've always wondered why its shortcomings keep returning iteration after iteration with no obvious solutions. So how does the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 stack up? Visually this case is stunning. Very slim and stylish, this product is stealthy enough not to be overly loud and unprofessional yet still catch your attention. I have had a few people in passing ask what I was using when I brought it out in the field with me. The high-quality materials such as scratch-resistant polyurethane leather make it feel like a premium product and give it a sense of durability that most folios lack. The black is sleek but I love that it also comes in white. At the time of purchase the white was unfortunately unavailable. Now for the features, there are two specifics that I’ve always wanted in a folio style case and Pitaka delivers on both of them. First is the Apple Pencil holder. My previous folio cases basically ignored the pencil all together, making it not the best solution for a designer. This one has a little magnetic flap that holds the pencil securely so I don't have to worry so much about it popping off and getting lost. If this saves me from losing one pencil at $129 US it's already more than paid for itself. And for days when I’m not toting the pencil around, Pitaka engineered a little recess where the flap can easily fold out of the way. Attention to detail is key. Now for the main stand out feature that I’ve been asking for for years. The Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 not only has two standing orientations but also varying degrees of tilt. This feature is essential for me and makes this accessory a must have. Apple’s Magic Keyboard and Smart Folio don't even offer the option for portrait orientation. While the Magic Keyboard does tilt to some degree, I cannot use it easily with the Apple Pencil very well and forget about trying to do any design work. The flip top cover also wakes the device which is a feature that you don't realize how important it is till you use a folio that doesn't include it. The Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 can do 4 degrees of tilt, one for portrait 3 three for landscape. In portrait it can do a 62 degree angle which I find very useful for reading or scrolling through web pages. In landscape this folio can do 34 degrees for drafting or drawing work which I find to be super comfortable. But also it can sit at 57 or 53 degrees. I found these angles great for video calls or Facetime. When I’m getting a little bit of glare at one angle I can quickly swap to the other angle and it usually alleviates the problem. Now I’ve used the MagEZ Case 2 and MagEZ Stand for a long time now (would kill for the MagEZ Pro and wireless charging stand) at home and I was worried if there would be compatibility issues. I’m happy to report that they work flawlessly together. The design team obviously made an effort for compatibility and they fit so well together that it brought a smile to my face. Now for the price, at $59 at time of writing I feel its more than fair. The Apple Smart Folio is $79 and offers less in terms of functionality. Sure they have more of a variety of colors but if color is more important than function to you, why are you reading a review? You would be hard pressed to find a folio style case that has so much to offer and is made of such premium feeling materials at this price. In conclusion, I’ve had a number of Pitaka products over the years and while I have not always been in love with them, they have made consistent improvements year after year. I don't believe in being a brand fanboy and I explore products from everyone whenever something new comes out. But for a while now I can say that all roads have lead me to Pitaka. From my iPhone 14 Pro Max to my iPad Pro I have found that almost exclusively all my needs have been met by their products without compromise. I recommended the The Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 for its durability and versatility.

Overall I like the quality and the concept. Other cases I used before were either too big/heavy/clunky (e.g. Otterbox) and needed an additional ipad holder that I had to carry while traveling. I have also tried other folios such as UAG ones, but they were not as stable, (it would easily slide) and it was only possible in landscape mode. The Pitaka Folio 2 solves all of those problems. It is lightweight and sleek. I don't have to carry another holder for traveling. It also has quite a varied number of viewing angles, quite sufficient for all the various uses of the ipad. It was also super stable and I did not have any wobbling issues or it collapsing. The portrait mode was only stable on one side though, and it was the side where the charging port was on the bottom. So you could not charge it and use it in a stable portrait mode at one time. It took me a while to figure out how to use all the different variations of folding and positioning. But once, I figured it out, it was became relatively simple and straightfoward. One issue I had was that the flap holding the apple pencil would flop down over the screen when it was in landscape mode on top. Putting a pencil there did solve the problem, but not everyone has the apple pencil, or won't have it there when they are using it. You could always flip it around, but just wanted to point that out. The other issue I had was that I have a fairly thin TPU case on the ipad. But it wasn't thin enough and I could not use it in conjunction with the Pitaka Folio 2. I take really good care of my apple devices so even the thought of it possibly being exposed even on one side at any time was not as comforting to me. It looks like I may have to try out the MagEZ case 2. It seems like that should be compatible, but it seems like no other case will be thin enough.
