Best purchase of all time. Cannot recommend enough!!
The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:The best headset on the market. I picked Bose because Bose is so reliable, I have so many of their products. Truly top of the market. Comfort:Never headaches, easily adjustable, and can purchase different ear pads! Fit:They adjust by pulling down on the earmuff portion, and the tip center stretched further apart as well. Value for money:These are definitely expensive, but I am a huge fan of spending money one time for something that will last a long time! Durability:Additionally, asking other pilot friends these headsets are super durable. The only thing that they have ever replaced is the ear pieces, but it’s was after 3-5 years of use (with the previous version I think the 20. Functionality:Can hook up your phone, get connectors that allow you to record audio and it is so clear. Small, comes with a case & adjustable mouth piece!

Enthusiast to professional, a great headset
I was beginning flight school, and this headset was recommended to me. The sound quality is perfect. Overall quality of materials is great. It’s comfortable and easily adjustable with little issue. The noise cancelling works great, I fly a Cessna 172 and regularly fly pattern with the windows open. I can hear the tower just fine with not much volume increase. The Bluetooth function is great, it mixes audio signals well. With typical store-bought AA batteries, using full noise cancellation and playing music with Bluetooth, you can get about 20-30 hours. Longer with less noise cancellation and no music. The only issue, of course, is the price. Listen, if you can get this headset and still eat with relative ease, you won’t regret it. Take good care of it, and it will last a good long time. Just be careful not to pinch the cable in the door, as it’s quite long. I had to replace the cable for that little lapse in judgement.

Worth it
Best headset out there! It's costly but definitely worth the investment. Never heard ATC so clearly

bought this for my daughter
I bought this for my daughter and this is her review: I'm a student pilot working toward my Private with less than 10 hours, and I'm currently training in a C-172. I've spent enough time with this headset to rate it 5 stars. The earphone sound and mic quality is phenomenal, and the ANR works amazing (if you remember to turn it on!). The headset is lightweight so I forget I'm wearing it, which I am especially grateful for as someone with a sensitive head. I will say though, practicing stalls and flying out of my seat so much caused the headset to press down and hurt the top of my head a bit, but I think this could be easily fixed by slightly adjusting it's position. Practicing stalls was the only time I had any issue. This is the first aviation headset I've owned so the only other headset I can compare it to is a much cheaper one I borrowed from my flight school for my discovery flight, and I think the Bose A30 is way better and definitely worth the splurge. As the saying goes, buy once cry once! I can safely say I have no complaints about the Bose A30 and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an aviation headset.

Best General Aviation Headset.
Best GA headset. Never bought the A20's because they used to clamp my larger head. These are great. Suck up the price and buy a pair if you're flying piston aircraft. Your older you will appreciate having not to wear a hearing aid when you're 70. Enjoy!

This thing is great!
I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews on the a30 over the a20. After flying with this headset, I think the negative reviews are from people having an expectation that the a30 would be the next revolution in aviation headsets that the a20 was when it came to market. In my opinion I feel like the a30 fine tuned the great things about the a20.This being said though from getting to fly an a20 on occasion and not as a primary headset. My headset before was a Denali d90 from flightcom. I love that headset, super comfortable, ok ANR. I say that to say, going from the d90 to the a30 made the d90 feel like a clamp with a David Clark being a vice on that scale lol. The ANR on the a30 is so good, I had to relearn all the engine noise nuances. Bluetooth is seamless and sounds amazing phone and music. I like the option to mute or not when the intercom or radio keys up. Phone call audio is awesome and no one knows I'm flying unless I tell them. I've hot about 20 hrs on the a30a so far with no cons. Definitely worth it.

Perfect headphones for me
I’m a first year college aviation student and I needed headphones for flying. I chose these because I heard good things about them and oh man these are worth every Penney. They are light and fit perfectly on my head. They have such good sound quality and well and the noise cancellation is top tier and they are easy to use. I didn't want to spend five hundred on a mid pair and later on spend the money on these. Overall worth the investment.
