Axing SVS 2-02 Broadband Inline Amplifier 20 dB Satellite and Terrestrial (47-2400 MHz)

Due to renovations I had to extend both my Satellite cables (connected to Sky Q box) by another 20 meters - total 50 meter run. Signal strength dropped to 20% and I was suffering from signal loss and pixelation - added these in line (about half way along cable run) and it boosted signal strength to 70%. Works a treat now!

These work great for skyQ which is why I upgraded from a previous model of these amplifiers when I got skyQ installed. Mine are about half way along a 40 meter run of cable and bring my signal right up to approximately 90 %. I am happy with the product and they are not very expensive.

Disappointing because I had high hopes. When placed on the LNB end of the cable it reduced the signal to 0% (I also swapped in/out to make sure). Then I tried the same at the TV (Humax) end of the cable, same result. Don't know if I could have done anything different; it is a pretty simple setup but for me it doesn't work.

No problems with this - it works very well with a standard 12V masthead amplifier power supply, and boosts all signals from about 50MHz to 2.5GHz.

Good price, quality good, easy to install, however, can be a bit of hit and miss as to whether or not you will get them to work. i.e. It improved the signal strength by 9%, but reduced the quality by 20%. Tried several of them on different Freesat boxes and they all had different results and I say this with a background in electronic communications. Cheap as Chips, but be aware, results may vary.

I've been waiting for these amplifiers for my sky Q box to be available for a while. What a difference they made, I've got a run of about 100 meters from my dish and satellite signal was at 20 before these were put in, and because of this some of the channels would break up, now with them in I get 60 and no issues with the channels that previously broke up. So very happy!!

My satellite cable is 50 meters in length and the signal strength had degraded to around 30% by the time it reached the set top box. I purchased two of these amplifiers, which boosted the signal strength to 90%. I placed the amplifiers in the loft, so nearer to the satellite dish. The cable runs to the lounge, so quite a distance. I use this with Sky Q by the way. The picture quality is excellent, so I'm pleased I purchased these.

No las tenía todas conmigo, después de ver los comentarios, pero me fue realmente útil. Tenía algunos canales que no veía y otros que se cortaban. Unos que veía tenían una potencia/calidad de 65/62 y después de colocarlo me pasó a 79/77 y ya dejé de tener problemas en los canales. Perfecto 👌 Antes de que llegara a funcionar hice varias pruebas: * Lo puse directamente a la entrada del decodificador y no cogía señal. * Lo puse a la salida del mezclador y me perdía la señal de satélite 🛰 y antena * Lo puse a la entrada del mezclador y también perdía toda la señal. * Finalmente lo puede cerca de la parabólica 📡, a unos 20 m de la toma de antena y comenzó a verse bien. Mi parabólica es comunitaria, pero como hay poca gente que la usa, le había cambiado el LNB por uno de 4 salidas y me cogí un cable directo a mi vivienda, con lo que, es como si tuviera una antena individual. El instalador me había dejado un empalme, en el que unía el cable de salida de la parabólica con un cable coaxial más fino para llegar hasta la casa. Aproveché esta unión para meterle en amplificador. Y resolvió todos mis problemas. Al tratarse de una toma de antena individual es necesito habilitar en el deco la alimentación al LNB, de lo contrario no se vería nada. ✅ CONCLUSIÓN Un dispositivo que realmente funciona, pero luego habría que estudiar cada caso para determinar cuál es fallo de cada uno. Para todos los que lo tengan, que hagan varias pruebas y en distintos puntos. Grace à cet amplificateur de parabole , quand votre cable coaxial est trop long , c'est formidable .Mon cable coaxiale pour canalsat et son decodeur UHD , passe de la parabole dans les combles , jusqu'au tableau electrique et ensuite les deux cables TNT et satellite sont racordés sur un separateur TNT et Parabole et reparte sur un seule coaxial dans un fourreau , jusqu'a la prise TV . De cette prise , le meme séparateur TNT/ Parabole inversé separe les signaux de la TNT et la parabole , en repartant chacun sur un cable coaxial et enfin pour la parabole , j'ai donc connecté comme sur le plan l'amplificateur de signal satellite .Du coup , je suis passé de -40 Db à -28Db , ce qui me donne donc un meilleur signal pour le decodeur de Canal + .j'ai donc fait des essais sur des chaines etrangeres pixelisés en numerotations fréquentielles et j'arrive à les recevoir avec une tres bonne qualité . Cet amplificateur est formidable car il vous apporte donc un meilleur gain . Cdt
