I think it's 4 or 5 ft. Can easily work with a good extension cord or power strip.

Could it be used as a mattresses to keep the spine alliened and 3 compressed lower discs and neck support for 250 lBS?

I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer for you. I bought it for my mom who was very frail and extremely thin (less than 100 lbs).
