Excellent, works well, once you've paired the remote, you then need to get volume and mute to work so go to - help&settings>help>virgin tv>programme your remote

I tried to contact Virgin to order a new remote for my Hitachi TV, but could never get through either on the website or by phone.Decided to order a new remote from Amazon. I found that I didn’t mind having to pay for the new remote. The remote is brilliant. I am sure it is smaller than the original and more compact. It is lovely to hold. The + and - sound buttons have never worked on my previous TV remote since I had a TiVo box. I have to use the TiVo box to adjust the sound level - which is OK.

Easy to set up using the Virgin tv box. Buttons are firm and I believe it is better than the original remote that came with the virgin tv box. Good product at a reasonable price. Delivered early too.

Bought this to replace the existing one which was damaged. Came promptly very pleased.

Delivered next day which was excellent considering our old remote wouldn’t work anymore. The remote comes ready with batteries which is good for the price paid. Highly recommended:) I had difficulty locating instructions on how to connect the new remote (even on the Virgin Media site) Found these instructions and the remote not only connected to the Virgin Media TiVo box, but I could use the new remote to control the sound on the television!!! Something I was unable to achieve with the old remote. Then enter your code and the light will flash green twice again.This will only control your volume and standby. (Not sure what they mean by that because I can turn the TiVo box on and off standby, volume on the TV and to operate channels on the TiVo box)

No problems at all, it was well packed and the remote had a kind of shrink wrap around it too so unlike some reviewers it was as new and clean. It came with an instruction label for tuning in and literally took me seconds to do it. It also had batteries in already which surprised me.I have been looking for ages for a new remote as my old one was really playing up and you would press a button and get the wrong function, trouble was I couldn't find one that had the same buttons, it ever occurred to me to search for a sky remote before! Super happy with it.

Initially worked fine. Then volume control stopped responding. We paired it as recommended , typed in the access code etc and it worked perfectly for one day . Since then, it’s not been consistent in responsiveness or which parts of the remote work. Sometimes you try to operate it and all works well. Then half hour later you pick it up and it won’t change channels or switch to my shows etc . Then later it’s fine again . By the way, the remote has brand new Duracell batteries, so that’s not the issue.. I wouldnt recommend this . Fraustrating to try to use.
