Bad Girl Reputation: an addictive second chance romance from the TikTok sensation

Book two in the Avalon Bay series and like book one, I really enjoyed it.Gen has came back to town for her mums funeral and agrees to hang around to help her dad out. At the same time she is doing her best to change herself and get her life on track, this means she needs to stay away from Evan, but we all know that’s not going to happen. Evan also needs to sort his life out, his spiralled when Gen left last year and if he wants Gen to get back with him then he needs to do better. I really liked Gen and Evan together, I especially loved their intensity and the push and pull of their relationship. This pair have been best friends since they were kids with an on/off relationship thrown in you can guarantee there is a lot of angst, a lot of tears and so much frustration on both sides.I really enjoyed Gens dad, he adored her and regardless of how she thinks he feels about her, he has her back and he’s not scared to show that.I also enjoyed seeing Evan and Coopers mum in this book, talk about making changes.Copper however I really didn’t like, I hated the way he spoke to Mac! He needs brought down a peg or two.Great fun easy read, definitely recommended you grab it.

SWOON 🔥🫠.I thought I had it for his twin Cooper, but DAMN Evan was something else 🥵🥹.This was such a good second chance story, and the outcome was the best! That last chapter before the epilogue? THE BEST 👌🏻.Seeing how both Evan and Genevieve grew out and beyond what they used to be, yet still remained the same just tugged on my heartstrings! I would have loved a bit more drama llama (I love drama 😂💁🏻‍♀️), but I still loved it to pieces! Anyways I feel like there will be TONS of drama in The Summer Girl, getting glimpses of Alana, Tate and Wyatt in this one 🫢👀. I have a feeling it will be positively explosive … Elle Kennedy is my favourite! I just love the way she writes!

Nothing happens until the very ending. It kind of drags but still has its moments here and there. I was yelling at them to get together already.

I liked the premise & read other books by this author but this one missed the mark for me.

I read the first book in the Avalon Bay series, Good Girl Complex, and really enjoyed that one, so was definitely going to order the second novel, Bad Girl Reputation.It's very easy to read, entertaining characters and interesting to hear more from the other twin in this novel. I read it very quickly, so I would recommend it for an easy to read bit of chick lit. If you have read the first novel, definitely give this one a go too.
