Pictures do not match description no lock out
The picture depicts a shock that can lock read the description about the shock as the one sent doesn’t have the locking option the picture and description are misleading

Mountain hardware is BIKE SPECIFIC
The shock is excellent but more importantly I want to point out that the shock mountain hardware is SPECIFIC TO YOUR BIKE. I see other reviewers complaining about the shock not coming with mounting hardware; of course it doesn't, each bike has their own size mounting hardware.

VERY impressed!
I originally gave this a 1 star review because they picture the RL that locks out and I got the R. Doesn't matter really because i never use a lock out. And you WILL have to get mounting hardware or use what you have on an an existing shock.HOWEVER I am now giving this shock a 5 star review. Got this as a backup to use while FOX Float Factory DPS is being repaired. That's a $479 shock. Rode the RockShox Monarch R today and was REALLY impressed with how it felt! I've been MTBing 30 years and hammer single track pretty hard. Cant speak to longevity of this shock yet but the 18 miles i hammered it today if felt amazing.I also got a Rockshox Recon Silver fork to put on a backup bike thinking it would feel like junk because it was $289. Nope. Actually feels as good as the $1000 fork I replaced! Probably have 500 or so miles on it with no problems.Impressed with performance of these low-prices Rockshox products

good shock, but may need to be tuned
This shock works great for my needs, but I had to change the compression shim stack for my riding style and weight. I ride on the aggressive side and only weigh 153 lbs and the shim stack was too stiff. If you are comfortable pulling shocks apart, it is an easy process. It took me about an hour one afternoon. If you need to pay someone, you may be better off going through your local bike shop or buying it online with the tune you need. Once tuned, the shock kicks butt.

El bloqueo viene bien en las subidas. Es suave y progresivo, aunque no es de gama alta cumple bien su cometido.
