The Spectron4 lens has a flash finish which improves filtration of visible light by applying a mirror effect to the lens.

Q: Are these sunglasses good for an antarctica expedition and kilimanjaro? tia.

I have not been able to travel since the start of COVID, hope to get away this year. This is why chose these sunglasses. So far I have only used them for mountain biking. They are reasonable dark and the side parts which are removable block out almost all light from your peripheral vision. In short I would say that they would be ideal for an Antarctic trip or high snow capped peaks.

Q: Not all colours seem to have alti arc lens which is misleading. which lens is matt black/grey? spectron3 or 4?
