MAHLEOX 188D Engine Oil Filter, 1 Pack

The Mann equivalent part was not available via Prime, so I bought this. My motor hasn't eaten itself yet, so I'll assume that this filter is fine.

This is a pretty good filter. I like the OEM-style zig-zag pleated oil filters better than the straight line pleats on this filter. Removing the old filter, the pleats get a little caved in over the course of a 10,000 mile oil change interval, but the OEM zig-zag pleated oil filters seem to hold up to the pressure in the oil filter canister. I'm sure this works perfectly fine and I would use it without hesitation. These are much better constructed than Frams or other lower-priced filters, and I trust it over those other brands.
