these fold and unfold quickly and easily,and are very useful for short people like me who need to access items in the kitchen stored on shelves.I have also used them to hang curtains and pictures.They are sturdy and I feel safe using them.

So it says to only use 1 of the 2 steps, initially I though yeah yeah that is health and saftey/legal issue. But once standing on the 1 step, now I think its because the steps would buckle. Its light and I had no issue opening and closing it. Just shocked that it feels so flimsy. It would be fine for a child or adult under 65kg/140lbs/10stone but anyone over that please beware. Delivery was good, price was good, no issue with seller, just the item itself is poor.
