I just received mine earlier today (5/23/2020), it works better than i thought it would! I ordered it a week ago for $35 now i see the price has went up to $50. Maybe that's because people are realizing it really works and just isn't some accessory that's in the way. When i used it to record my vocals, I realized how much cleaner they were than before i had got this shield. If you're looking for a isolation shield on a budget, I definitely recommend this one for its price point & usefulness

This was a good purchase and a good product. My only complaint was, I imagined it to be a little bit larger. It is just as described that was my fault for not checking the size before I purchased. Otherwise it was worth the money and a nice little starter kit. I do recommend.

This was simple to assemble and mount my condenser mic to with a stand... just took a few minutes. The quality seems fine. I don't have a sound treated room and was hoping that this would cut down on some of the background noise that my insanely sensitive condenser mic seems to pick up, but it doesn't. I would guess that for someone doing simple voice over work or podcasting that this would be a good fit with a dynamic mic, but for my specific mic and for doing music vocals I'm going to have to add some acoustic panels to my space to try to deaden and further insulate for my recordings.

Well built Microphone Isolation Shield. Heavy, with a metal (not plastic) grill on the back. Came with handy hardware to adapt with microphone and stand. Only came with a cheap, open-ended sack to carry the item around in. Would've been more appropriate to supply something more substantial, for something as heavy as this Microphone Isolation Shield. You'll most likely NOT be able to mount this unit on a boom arm, unless it's heavy duty, or counter-weighted on the opposite side of the boom arm. But this Microphone Isolation Shield sits nicely directly on top of a microphone stand. I'm very happy with this item, and I think most people would be as well.
