Cleaned my tank sensors.
Use like the directions say. Worked for me. A handy tip is to put 4-5 gallons of water into the black water tank after dumping it and keep it there. Helps prevent waste build up in the bottom.

Love this product. You can dump it in after your last trip, let it sit there & do it's thing, then dump it out at the beginning of your next trip. Sensors clean & no odor!

JUST BUY THE BLACK TANK CLEANER-Same ingredients for less money.
HEADS UP: Uniques Sensor cleaner and black tank cleaner are the EXACT same product, this was confirmed by Unique. The ONLY difference is that a whole bottle is used for black tank cleaning vs 1/2 a bottle for the sensor cleaning product. Why they don’t just give alternate instructions for one product is a bit shady. So, Don’t pay more for the sensor cleaner.

Doesn't work
I have to admit, I used this product on my grey tank sensors. It didn't work. I called customer service afterwards. They told me it was for black tank sensor cleaning. But they did give me advice on how to clean my grey tank sensors. Best customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you and will try again if my black tank needs help.

Works for only a single cycle.
I've done multiple trials of the Restore-It RV Sensor Cleaner. First, I tried a single-cycle cleaning, rinsing thoroughly afterward. That worked for the next cycle. But, once I drained and started to use the Black tanks again, they were immediately misreading. Next time, I decided to take it to the max - I would treat it (including Dawn Ultra), leave it for 4 days, then flush. I repeated this process a total of 3 times per black tank. We have two black tanks, so we could switch off and use only one tank while the other was doing the treatment cycle. Every single time I tried the Sensor Cleaning process, it would work for a single cycle before the sensors started misreading again. I even tried moving a sensor on one of the tanks to a new location, and found (even after treatment) that the new location gave a "good" reading. But, once the Black Tank was used again, the sensors were misreading. They always progressed from 1/3 to 2/3 to F over several cycles. Note: We're full-time RVers. We've tried HydroCleaning the tanks (cost: $275) which is where they push a pressure washer hose inside to clean off anything inside. This worked for about 3 cycles before the misreadings began. We've decided that sensors not reading properly are not a problem, as we run out of fresh water long before our tanks fill up (Fresh: 75 gallons, Gray: 65 gallons, Black 1: 35 gallons, Black 2: 55 gallons).

You have to put in the work
I don’t write reviews often anymore. Not unless I am really pleased or really disappointed. In this case I am shocked at how well this product worked!I have lived full time in my RV (Forest River Hemisphere) for 5 years (bought it new) and have used various products over the years for the BT. Two years ago I noticed my sensors seemed “stuck”. I tried an enzyme flush with no success so I just lived with it. I’m thinking about upgrading soon, so I tried again. Found this product. Mostly followed the directions, I don’t think my BT was probably sufficiently flushed when I used the product and without sensors, it was tricky to tell if the tank was full…I let it sit for four days. I added a gallon of water twice, thinking maybe the tank wasn’t full enough.I emptied the BT today. The 1/3 and 2/3 still lit up when empty. So I closed the valve and filled the tank completely full until I could see water in the pipe. Emptied. The 2/3 worked! But the 1/3 still lit up. So I flushed it again with half the water (I’m filling it and then emptying, not letting it flow through). And then the 1/3 cleared!! I flushed the tank one more time for good measure. I am astounded this product actually worked.Note, I have a clear elbow on my drain and I could see chunks of scaling as they came out! This product works but you MUST rinse the tank several times very thoroughly (fill and then empty) to clean out all the residue it dislodges. I plan to use it one more time in Feb when I list my RV.

does not work
used it per instruction and it did nothing and made things worse. empty tank was reading half full and after treatment and I let it sit there for 4 days and used a full bottle, sensors were reading 3/4 full after I emptied the tank. A total waste of money.
