About 2 year later review
The quality is amazing, strong power sound and a decent volume range, performed great and has lasted me 2 years were still strong after half a year of sitting in broke down truck and would sound just as good as day I bought them, definitely recommend, my only issue was they stuck out to far and we're just barely to far out for door to fit so I had to trim the speaker plastic to make it fit but that's it, and it was worth it for the price of these

6x9's that bump!
Wow... these 6x9's absolutely pound. I didn't buy them for the bass, but man am I surprised at how hard they can hit low frequencies.A word of advice, use an amp! These are not for your stock head unit to power. They need some wattage in order to really shine.I am a sound engineer, I expected a very well rounded speaker, I feel like i got more than I paid for. Crisp treble, punchy, tight bass that feels natural to the ear. Mids are good, but it's the treble and deep bass that I find the most pleasant.I installed in a 1973 Mach 1 in the rear deck, after adding kilmat to the entire car. Mounted speakers on 3/4" plywood that seals the trunk from the cabin. This basically creates a really good infinite baffle that helps these speakers produce a lot of bass. All in all, I don't regret purchasing at all. If you want full range speakers that can really extent to a low bass range, these are the ones.

Amazing!
This product was beyond what was expected! I highly recommend this speakers to anyone that wants to hear a good bass. I went with these because I own the portable JBL charge speakers and I love the quality sound. Let me tell you they do not disappoint! I bought my dad some infinity speakers same size and I was disappointed with the quality sound when it comes to music with heavy bass. Those sound a little distorted so I’m going to switch them out to these. I did however turned off the tweeter on these JBL and it was a much smoother sound. 3 way speakers do distort the sound quality when it comes to the high bass and super high tones. I did purchase the smaller jbl club speakers for my front dash to help with what a tweeter would do but it was not necessary! I like music with high bass such as Hip Hop, Electric House Music, EDM type of songs, and Alternative rock. Let me tell you these 2 speakers on my Dodge Ram rattle the mirror when the bass hits! If you like the club scene and quality music at a club setting I highly recommend! Just a quick tip before putting the door panels back on or the speaker screen try them with the tweeter on and off to your liking. Also buy the quick adapters for the speaker wires according to your car! Saves you from cutting wires and trying to tape them in awkward hand positions.

Noticeable upgrade from stock 2016 4Runner front door speakers with OEM head unit.
I have a 2016 4Runner Trail edition with the standard Entune head unit (not the upgraded JBL system).I've already done the H631SFJ101 tweeter upgrade on the dash as recommended an a lot of 4runner and Tacoma forums but the low end was pretty muddy/sloppy sounding.SOUND COMPARED TO OEM SPEAKERS WITH ENTUNE HEAD UNITI replaced the stock speakers with these and instantly noticed better clarity and tighter bass. The overall bass is slightly greater but definitely tighter. Speakers are also not fully broken in yet but it's a noticeable improvement from the start! IF you have a 5th gen 4Runner you'll also need the Metra 82-8146 speaker adapters (for front doors) and Metra 72-8104 speaker wire harness.***If you're looking for a super audiophile experience then you'll probably need to get an amp and component speakers with a sub/s to achieve that.***However, if you're just wanting to get noticeably better overall clarity and tighter bass out of your 5th gen 4Runner OEM Entune audio system then most people do the dash tweeters first and if that's not enough then you can drop something like these in and work your way to the rear doors if you want.INSTALLATION ON 5TH GEN 4RUNNERSUPER EASY! With the Metra 82-8146 speaker adapters (for front doors) and Metra 72-8104 speaker wire harness it took about 10 minutes per door including prepping speakers and using weather stripping to seal speaker to mount and mount to door.I plan on dropping in a pair of PowerBass OE652-TY 6.5"s for the rear doors and call it good.

Bastante bien
Las tengo montadas en un clasico con un dsx410 y un kenwood kac5206 y da muy buen sonido, no distorsiona a alto volumen y define muy bien, solo le siento una falta de bajos pero no descarto que sea falta de aislamiento donde los tengo montados

Read This If You have a Toyota Camry with JBL Sound System
So I originally got these speakers for my 2004 Toyota Camry SE I got them installed by a third party Audio Store and All I have to say is that I am very Pleased with these speakers. My rear speakers were getting old and worn out and I wanted to get some speakers that could take the output of my head unit and the amplifier. These speakers are loud and I mean that you could get these as sub woofers if you wanted to. They are that good. So when I get my next car I will be getting these again and a whole JBL sound system in that too.

…The WHOLE Sound Stage! 😂
The media could not be loaded. …Sunday December 5, 2021 the day I trashed the stock speakers from Mexico in my 2003 Dodge Caravan Se and replaced them with JBL’s ALL the way around 👏🏽“Let those that have ears Hear…” and if mounted correctly these JBL GTO Series speakers will blow you away. The entire Sound Stage is present in every sample of every song I’ve listened to since installing them today. Absolute perfect sample of Miles Davis “All Blues”… and I downright cried when hearing Aretha Franklins “You’ll Never Walk Alone” And listening to Kirk Wahalam blow his saxophone I could hear him take a breath in between notes 😂I am going to stick with JBL in my van…Flagship 6 Channel Amplifier & Subwoofer enclosure next…When I’m done it’ll sound like I’m rolling in a JBL Van instead of a Dodge Caravan…lmao 😂
