Fit perfectly, looks sturdy enough.
You'll want to measure your holes first before ordering this(search product answers to get the dimensions), it's 1 7/8" x 3 3/4", at least in US measurements. I did and the product fit perfectly, I was able to put the heat sink on, etc... Basically, I was transforming an old system from a game machine into a rack mount server, so the new case was too small for the old huge heatsink. I had removed(and thus lost) the original mount. Put the back plate on, screwed the screws in, it fit perfectly, then mounted the new heatsink. All is well and the computer is now acting as a (fairly slow, but meets needs) server.

Works beautifully with and older msi motherboard, and an am3+ socket.
My old CPU bracket broke, and wasn't holding the fan onto my CPU. I bought this as a last ditch effort, and it saved me so much time and money. thank you.

Dont throw away the original one! Least it isn't costly @
Ordered this to replace a removed one for a hyper evo 212 set up which required removing the original one. I have a wraith led cooler(prism I believe its called) I've decided to leave the evo hyper 212 on the new CPU, a pair of delta 4800RPM fans in a push/pull configuration. Yeah it does make noise, like a jet taking off, but my temps dont go over 45 Celsius under heavy loads. Idles 23 to 26.I have 2 AMD 8350 chips. One with wraith cooler (my sons computer) and 1 with the evo hyper 212 with the delta fans

Fits, fixed the problem
Bought to replace a broken bracket on an old AM2+ motherboard just like everybody else looking at this. It fits, works great out of the box. But look guys, this plastic bracket sooner or later is going to break just like the one you had before. This is cheap enough to buy a spare.

Great product
I looked the fact this item for my motherboard. I had to buy new nuts as these were wrong type. I needed 3mm. Good thing is after visiting 8 different stores, I located them at air and gas. Spending 10 cents was worth it all

Works to it's purpose
So far this piece has worked to its purpose, the plastic doesn't feel like OEM quality, and to be honest feels little more fragile than OEM, but has worked very good
