Great idea to hide whatever you can think of without anyone being any the wiser! The product does exactly what it claims to do, while resembling a vehicle key; however, there are some caveats. Let's start with a non-serious, subjective one: the first cover to pull off to separate the holding tray is tough. I was able to get it with some quick force; however, someone smaller than me was having issues. I'm on the fence with this, however, as you would want something hard to come apart if you are trying to hide something. The major disappointment, however, is the absence of a key pattern on the flip-out key. We don't want to be making keys that could accidentally open someone's car; however, without a pattern, things start to ring suspicious when you think about it. True, most people will keep the key shut when they come across it, but if you are buying something like this, I'm sure you will want absolute maximum disguise. A simple, non-functioning key cutout would have been sufficient.All in all, though, it's still a handy container. The buttons press slightly and seem very convincing. This is a must if you need to conceal something small!

It's not hard to open, there's just a specific method but no instructions. Someone else already mentioned it but i'll repeat, basically just flick the key open, grab both ends, and slowly pull as you bend the middle (the key part gives you more leverage and makes it easy). Dont try to pull straight out or pry it open cuz you'll die of frustration. And minus a star cuz its cheaply made, compartment isnt even flat.
