Manhattan Toy Atom Rattle & Teether Grasping Activity Baby Toy, Multicolor, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I don't usually write reviews but my 5 month old loves this to help soothe his teething pain. It is great for him to hold and it is a fun little rattle he can play with too!

Bought as a gift for a 4 month old baby. It's her favourite toy right now... Bright colours, easy to hold, easy to chow on, and a nice rattle ...

This was one of my babies favourite toys. The narrow spokes made it easy to pick up when he was first learning to grasp toys. The symmetrical shape meant that another spoke was always in the right place to encourage easy hand to hand passing. The hoops make it also work as a fun rattle which extends the life of the toy. My baby didn’t really use it much as a “teether” - he preferred squishier textures when his first teeth were coming through and wooden toys for later teeth - but it was still one of our most used toys from 3-8 months and still gets some use as a rattle.

This was a lot smaller than I thought it would be , another item purchased for a Children's charity Wishing tree, however that said a friend did remind me that it is for a baby, so perhaps my expectations were too high. Limited life though if just for teething had a nice sound to it.

I’ve bought numerous teethers for my daughter who is fast approaching 5 months old and as a new mum, it’s a bit of a minefield. Is she teething/isn’t she? I’ve tried soft silicone ones which she likes for a little bit, I’ve also tried a dummy version that can be filled with frozen fruit - again, she liked these for a little bit. However, after noticing that she was gnawing on my knuckle, I wondered if she needed something harder. We’ve had this two days now and she’s figured out how to gnaw on it herself, she can hold it with both hands and if she loses grip she quickly finds another holding position and relocates it. This works especially well if I lay her tummy down against a pillow - she rests her elbows on the pillow and then pops the teether into her mouth. The little circular rings are an added bonus as they make a light rattle. The colours are gorgeous. Initially I thought this was made of wood from the pictures but it is a plastic material. The stems are flexible but the balls have very little give. In terms of cleaning I have sloshed it about in some warm soapy water, rinsed and then popped into the Milton. Not a problem really :)

Really good teether. My 4.5 month old was struggling to hold other teethers that i have and get the actual teether in her mouth. She kept holding it to her mouth and putting her hand or fingers in. This teether means that no matter where she holds it, it goes in her mouth. She does get bored of it after a few minutes, but it's worth the purchase.

Perfect interactive teething toy for my son - could size for him to play with as well, would definitely recommend.

Smaller than first thought. Good toy for teething. Sterilised fine in UV steriliser with no heat.

My baby has LOVED the Manhattan Toy Co. toys - we got a different one as a gift at my baby shower, so we looked aroud for other similar things and found this company's toys. We bought this and it quickly became one of my son's FAVORITES as a baby. It was super easy for him to hold, chew on, shake, rattle, sick on, throw, etc... as he got a little older, he liked to pull on the little rings. The little rings also are great because we were able to loop one of those pacifier straps onto it. We snapped it onto his car seat / bib / crib side / clothes etc.. so he could play with it without it falling to the ground! it's sort of small, but is the perfect size for baby. its a flexible material that's great for chewing and working those hand muscles! :)

We got this as a gift for my baby and it has been his favourite toy from day one, and is still well loved by my now 9 month old! It was great for the newborn stage because it rattles and the colours are so fun. The shape makes it very easy to grab for when they get to the grasping stage. The size and feel (the stems are bendable and the ends are a durable rubber) are perfect for fitting in their little mouths (but not so long that it gags them) for when they are teething. It has been his most consistent go-to toy, and since it is small we take it with us when we travel. Overall, this toy has remained a favourite through many developmental stages and has continued to keep him interested. This will be one of my go-to shower gifts. Highly recommend!
