reliability
Even though the construction of this compass is mostly plastic I found it to function surprisingly well. It is light to carry, durable even if you can't run it over with a truck and accurate. What more do you need when you are plotting a coarse. For the cost it is a very good value & it is reliable.

It works like a compass should work the build quality is good and solid the inclinometer is a little sketchy but usable

Easy to use
I bought this compass for my nephew. He and his dad go camping and hiking during the summer. It has a carry case which can be worn around the neck. It is made of aluminum and not cheap plastic, and it has a clinometer.

Seemingly quality materials
Ive only had it a day.. so I cant say its the best or the worst thing i have ever owned.. but at a cursory glance, it appears to be well made, sturdy and reliable.After i have taken it out and used it some I will update this review.

It is a normal compass
If you just do some very light hiking, this compass definitely have more functions than you need.

Compass Quality is just OK.
The action of this compass sticks a bit, not as fluid as it could have been to be more acurate. It requires a bit of gentle tapping to get it to set itself approximately. I have another compass that aligns north and south much more fluidly.
