Throughout the century, this color palette has evolved, but the core of its manufacturing remains unchanged. A gentle Sennelier pastel is made from pure, high-quality pigments, ground with a transparent natural binder. The high-quality composition of the pastels results from a perfect balance between binder and pigment. In the grades, increasing amounts of fine minerals are added, which eventually tend to white. Its exceptional shine is the pigment and natural minerals discovered by Sennelier in 1905 and used ever since.
