Great stern anchor for our 23’ center console
Great stern anchor. We have a 23’ center console and this anchor has performed very well for our sandbar trips. Lightweight and compact when retracted but digs in the sand and holds better than heavier galvanized flukes. Would recommend up to a 30’ boat.

Best anchor I ever bought.
Reliable and Sturdy—Great for Any Boater!I recently purchased the Sand Shark Boat Anchor, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials that hold up well even in rough conditions. One of the best features is its lightweight yet strong design, making it easy to store and transport without sacrificing performance. The screw-in mechanism is the best!!! Overall, I highly recommend the Sand Shark Anchor for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and well-made anchor for their boat or jet ski.Would definitely buy the mini fluke for my jetski!!!

Holds much better than expected
No complaints. Used on a 23ft center console in a pretty windy location off of Cape Cod. Held perfectly. Even had a friend tie up (Another 23ft CC) and the anchor held without dragging.Couple of notes:1. Anchor is very lightweight, I added a 6ft SS chain and 100' for ease of setting.2. Used in the Ocean3. No instructions for assembly - but very straightforwardNot one complaint and seems sturdy.

Perfect alternative to Sea-Doo Switch Anchor Kit
I have a 21’ Sea-Doo Switch Pontoon. The Sea-Doo version of this style anchor is $280, which is insane. I bought this anchor as an alternative and have loved it. I’m currently on a 6000 mile trek around the Great Loop and have used this anchor daily for 2 weeks now in a variety of bottom and weather conditions.Assembly: pretty straightforward and easy. The parts do move around in 3 dimensions so take your time lining them up. The one part I was a little iffy on was the very small screw that holds the cross rod in place. I was worried about it being sufficiently robust and also working its way loose. I used Loctite to secure it and so far no issues.Design: I really like the way the main shaft slides up into the housing for compact storage. The serrated edges of the anchor itself are also nice and seem to be effective.Quality: production quality is pretty good. They warn you about possible sharp edges but mine had none.Effectiveness: The anchor is deliberately light weight - I think 5 lbs vs the 8 lb Sea-Doo version. I added 8’ of 316 stainless chain (4’ each of 5/16 and 1/4) and 150’ of 3/8” nylon anchor rope. Using this setup, I have held in 20 knot winds thus far.Issues: the only issue I have had is that due to the sliding shaft design, you have to make sure you clean out any mud or other debris. I didn’t do this once and the anchor did not properly deploy and started to drag. It was an easy fix - just stand on the cross bar and yank on the chain to pop free.Very pleased with this purchase. You can buy chain and rope cheap, so the all-in cost is much less than a Sea-Doo version. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an anchor for their Switch or for any PWC or lightweight boat.

Rock solid in a compact package! The sandshark mini fluke anchor is super easy to use and surprisingly strong for its size! Perfect for jet skis or boats! Super easy to drop and retrieve and holds tight in windy conditions. I love that it comes with its own compact storage bag, helps keep everything tidy and easy to store. This is a most have!

Impressive Anchor
I have 2 anchors aboard our 26' tritoon. We boat on the sandy bottom, Gulf Coast in Florida, and anchor close to shore often. Close enogh to walk to the boat from the beach. The waves can be tough to maintain your position. A good performing set of anchors are a must. We use 2 every time. One of our anchors is a FX-11. A fairly pricey high performing anchor. The other was a cheap steel fluke you typically pay about $20 for. Lost it's bite more than once, even with a chain rode. I decided to upgrade to the Sand Shark at the last minute, which worked out perfectly, with with the next day shipping. Dang, you guys are good Amazon! Well done Jeff! This 5 lb Sandshark performed just as well as the FX-11 this past weekend, anchored at Caladesi Island. The manufacturing quality of the anchor is first rate and it's a good looking piece. If you're boating in similar sandy bottom conditions, in not too big of a boat you will not be disappointed with this one. Do be sure add a chain to it. I'm only using 4' of 3/8" chain and it works well. May need more for rougher water. Galvanized works, but stainless compliments an already nice looking anchor. Safe boating ya'll!
