ZOOB BuilderZ S.T.E.M. Challenge Moving Building Modeling System, 220 Piece Kids Construction Set

These Zoobs are amazing! I bought several boxes when I found out I'd be babysitting for my neighbor's 7 year old son. (He's going to be a 'Mechanical Engineer' and design 'better cars' when he grows up... Watch out Elon Musk!) First of all, this kid is very smart. The booklets are easy for him to understand and it only takes a few minutes for him to assemble one of the many designs suggested. He also comes up with his own designs as well. In fact, it was easier for him to figure out than it was for me to! He sits for hours making one design after another until he finds the design he wants to play with... then he's off and running for another hour playing with the design he made! I have so much fun just watching him... first he looks at all the pieces, handles them, turning them this way and that, next thing I know we have a car, a truck a robot. Zoobs are brilliant in their design. Unlike the bricks, these are flexible and make a new toy each and every time. The bricks, you build something... then you build something else. You have to buy special packages if you want to build a truck, car or robot, but Zoobs are much more flexible. You can build a house, you can build a box, you can build a car and, like the bricks, Zoobs are interchangeable with all of the other Zoobs kits. We have a new saying " You can never have too many Zoobs!" We played all afternoon, before I knew it, it was dinnertime, & I hadn't looked at my cell phone in several hours! I'm looking forward to our next playdate! (I think I'm going to buy the Zoobs robot next!)

Purchased for my grandsons ages 5 and 2 1/2.They have previous experience with Zoobs so bought this set for them to use at their house.Diagrams are easy to follow.Adults and teens are mesmerized by the possibilities.Great for imagination play.Highly recommend.

Got this to help with my sons building skills, we home school, 3rd grade starting up. I've added this as part of his curriculum so he can be challenged with building and critical thinking. It comes with challenge cards and building help in order to make cool things. He is VERY excited. I had him pull it out today and he was just exploring the pieces. It is so well made, I am impressed. Worth the money I spent. lots of types and sizes of rubber bands, thick string, a ball thingy, 4 wheels, 2 red base type things, challenge cards, some experimental pamphlets with ideas, a huge bag of linking parts. The box can be used to store everything but I would also recommend 1-2 gallon bags and some sandwich baggies to restore the items after you open them and then keep the baggies in the box. The box is cool too :) and durable.

A lot of fun. The Zoob lineup is a fantastic addition to every home or classroom. This set has even more pieces and some really good ideas to get them designing and experimenting. The only thing we find with zoobs is that the ends that connect are a little thin and start to break over time, so keep away from babies due to those small pieces that could break off. Last a couple of years of hard play before that happens though.

I bought this for my grandson to play with when he comes to visit he is 7. Normally he will like to do two or three things at once, but once he starts working on an idea to make something with this he sticks to it and gets busy and really makes good things. Especially if it's something a little complicated he attempts he is determined to stick with it until it's done. He really likes this and I highly recommend it.

I run a home daycare with 12 children and also have 2 of my own. Quite a few of them like building things too, and the younger ones enjoy playing with creations that have already been built by somebody else.This set comes with 5 different connection pieces as well as 4 wheels. It also comes with instruction booklets which show you how to build easy and then more difficult creations. We found that it was a good idea to look at the books first and build following the directions to get a feel for what can be built. Now we all mostly make up our own creations. I did buy another slightly different set too because with at least 5 children building at once, one set was not enough.

Great for development and hours of fun learning.

Great gift for 6 and up. Creative way to engage kids in hands on learning and challenges. Kids can design with their imaginations or try one of the multiple challenges that come with the set. Unlike many other construction sets, kids do not build by following instructions. They build to solve a challenge or to create an invention of their own.This would also be a great addition to the science and technology area of any elementary classroom, to children's museums, to after school and Boys and Girls Club programs and to maker space programs for grade school age children.

This is a gift for a great nephew of mine so unfortunately I don't get to play with it - it looks like fun and his Dad thinks it will be a winner of a present - I liked that it has several ideas that comes with all of those pieces of what is possible to build with the set -

Great product. Boys love it. Spend hours of fun playing with it.

I have 3 boys ranging from four years to thirteen and this was the most used Christmas present this year. They have more fun with Zoob than Lego. It's big enough for the four year old and the elder boys love the moving arms and the ability to use the rubber bands to create unique things. Plus unlike with Lego they can follow the guide and make the parts.I'm planning on getting the other similar items in this series.
