Brilliant stuff
I bought this on recommendation of my chiropodist and very pleased with it. It works really well and does the job it's meant to. Also smells nice which is an added bonus. Item arrived promptly. Thank you. I would definitely buy this again.

Soft, soft feet!!
I wasn't sure if this cream would work but I followed the instructions carefully. I was quite surprised at how my feet felt. The surface skin was soft and very smooth, presumably from the silk extract and the callouses seem to be getting less thick. I haven't used it long enough to feel the full benefits but I am very happy and impressed with the results so far.

Easily absorbed, non greasy.
Not sure how good this is as I seem to use it a lot but I work with my hands so maybe better than nothing.

Ok for general foot softener.
This cream for Callus & hard lumps of very dry skin is not really that good, it's got a certain amount of softening in general but had no affect on the bumps of hard skin on my big toes (maybe they are Callus'es), so for me not brilliant. I do recommend for a general foot cream, but if you have unwanted lumps & bumps of hard skin, don't bother.

After years of searching, I've finally found The One
Incredible stuff! I've been trying all sorts of things to keep the build-up of dry skin on my feet at bay (mine builds up very fast, within days, and can even caused cracked heels).... I think I've finally landed on my magic combo for supple feet that actually look smooth! I now... 1. Exfoliate daily in the shower – like, 30 secs on each foot – with a Boots Hard Skin Remover (a white pumice-like stone, honestly just amazing (I rub a bar of soap on the stone first to act as a lubricant) 2. Gewohl callus cream after the shower and then (washing my feet first) before bed I'm so pleased I found this!! Before finding this cream, even when I exfoliated daily using the Boots stone (and then moisturised afterwards using O'Keefe's Healthy Feet), once my feet were fully dry after the shower while most of the hard skin had been thinned out by the stone, they'd still feel dry and kinda crispy... The difference the cream makes is that the skin actually feels supple. I'm so blown away!!

Recommended to me
A podiatrist recommended this and it is really good - need to combine with having podiatry treatment on heavy callouses but it takes the rough edge off.

So it can be hard to tell the Gehwol products apart, or know which is best for you. The Callus Cream is, to me, the most efficient, right up there with Lipidro. Here's why: Pros - Prevents the cracks before they settle in for the season. That was great news to me as my heels crack every winter, sometimes reopening old canyons that appeared to have closed for good... - Smells good - Is also great for my overly-washed-and-sanitized hands. Whatever your reason to wash your hands a lot, if yours have been suffering even more since the ubiquity of the hand sanitizer, don't hesitate to put more than you need on your feet to heal your hands, too. Cons - Those darn metal tubes. If you're not careful to press the tube at the flat end (and not the middle), eventually, said tube will split and release content sideways. Not practical, and wasteful. - When applied, you kind of need to cover your feet (and hands) for full effect, and also to avoid greasing the floor or whatever you are about to touch. - May make the softer part of your toes a bit too moist. Let me explain. So, say you go for a run on the treadmill after a night of sock-and-cream induced foot healing but do not hit the shower between both activities, you may need to put talcum powder in your fresh running socks to prevent the softer parts of your toes (such as the top of your middle toes) from blistering. Learned that the hard way, but baby or foot powder does the trick to prevent that. Still love the Lipidro as an alternative, which also works well on severely dry hands. You likely can't go wrong with either, though the Callus cream is a notch stronger.
