Useful little thing
It is perfect for what I need: a space saving shredder for receipts and letter heddings bearing our details. It can be place anywhere because it works with batteries as well, and also has a letter opener which stops me tearing off the envelopes. I cannot comment on its life span but I think it will last long enough if I will not force in it too much paper at one time.

Not good
Lasted for barely a month. I had to tear each page in 4 and feed each part separately. Even so it stuck constantly. I used the reverse all the time trying to "boost" it, but no use. And one day, it just stopped working. Definitely not worth it, I am buying a larger one now, invest some more, hope it makes a difference. My advice, DON'T BUY.

Very limited shredding ability
Only shreds one thickness of anything over 70 gsm, so A4 sheets of 75 or 80 gsm printer paper have to be torn into two strips before shredding. It's OK for things like till receipts.More of a toy than an office machine.

for small home usage it is OK...take care of what you really buy!
The product came very quicky and it is very easy to use. However.....Pay attention of what type of product you need! This product is for small usage, home use for small documents half page A4. Take care, if the paper is thick, like bank stataments papers, you cannot put more than 1 (one piece) of paper at a time, and you have to cut off in 2 parts, like 2 A5 document. If it is a normal paper, not thick, like that receipt from the supermarket, you can upload 2 or maximum 3 papers A5 format, that means you cut in 2 parts a paper A4 (LETTER IN HALF). After 3 or 4 cycles, you have to stop the shredder and clean it up with small twizzer or very small scissors from the small bits of paper which are normally stuck in the shredder box. The wider widith of the shredded documents are arround 3 or 4mm, which is indeed bigger than an more expensive shredder's performance. You can easily find out your name and bank details AFTER you did the job, in the small bits of paper. This is not good! I recommend an expensive shredder with better technically performances! The small price is a trick! BUY AN EXPENSIVE BETTER PRODUCT!

It works well
Works well powered from USB. I've not tried batteries. Paper shreds can end up stuck inside the top (black) motor section so it's best to stay away from the edges with your paper. Easily cleared with tweezers though. Good for shredding receipts and odd small bits and pieces without having to get my big A4 shredder out. Overall - a good buy.

Rubbish!
This is rubbish! An A4 page has be be 1/4d to fit and as often as not it struggles withbthis single 1/4 of a sheet. Itbhas jammed a number of times have chugged and struggled with a single piece!
