Great product easy to carve, great ink boxes

I got the small kit with only 1 block. The block is big enough to make several stamps and is fun to carve. Both knives are high-quality and secure. The exacto knife comes with a cover too, something rarely seen. Overall this is a great kit to get started with print making :)

For the price, I thought this lino print kit offered great quality. Sure, you can find higher quality options at places like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Dick Blick, but they’ll cost 2-3 times more. Unless you’re very serious about lino print art and ready to invest more, this kit is perfect for experimenting and learning. I had so much fun working with the blocks and discovering my own lino print style!

This was a good set to start with. It gives you everything you need to get a print created minus the paper, brayer and ink. I think it was a good buy for what you received. Also, should purchase cut resistant gloves to be safe. You may want to start with a Speedball brand if you are just starting out. But if you want to get a variety of inks, this allows you to purchase a different color at a later time.

Good starter set. However- the Lino block that’s included is quite hard for a beginner compared to others I’ve tried. Also, and probably the biggest issue for me is the carving tools, there is no small tool. The smallest one in this kit is still very very large and would not be able to carve with any detail.

I used one of the rubber pads in its entirety to make an extra large stamp to personalize some plain paper carrier bags for our budding art endeavor. I liked the fact that the kit came with extra pads in case I goofed, or if I change my mind about the logo in the future. There was a learning curve to the lino tool, but worked like a charm once I got the hang of it. The knife was sharp and came with extra blades, and the colored ink pads, although too small for me to use in the long run, were perfect for trying out some different colors. Now I can decide which I like best, and go buy one large enough to accommodate stamping 100 bags! There was also a pencil included that was soft and dark enough to do use for the image transfer. Everything I needed to complete the project! A perfect starter set - highly recommend *****

This takes some trial and error to get right as far as the printing part goes, but it's essentially everything needed to get you started with. The knife is sharp and works to cut the linoleum well. There was no damage to the box and it shipped quickly. A fun activity to pick up if you want to get into printmaking/linocut. Just be careful with the sharp stuff!

only big complaint: didn’t come with a roller and transfer paper. other than that though, it was a great starter kit. very easy to use, would’ve been better if the instructions were more detailed though. the pads were thick (in a good way) and the ink was good (i used paint tho for more colors).
