This looks superb (I also purchased the cast iron grill and hub accessory). The fire pit arrived in a torn and dented cardboard box and, hence, the fire pit had a dent on the surface ( but still usable - and so, only 4 stars). I decided not to return the item. I was in contact with the manufacturer an a related issue and I found their response to to prompt, friendly and helpful. I haven't used the fire pit yet - still seasoning the cast iron cooking grill. However, this is a mighty fine addition to my BBQ area.

Warning to U.K. Buyers - you will be required to pay over £100 customs charges and fees which aren’t stated anywhere in the product listing or at the checkout. The Yukon is amazing - it is large but perfect for a garden fire pit. The stove gets hot very quickly with minimal smoke compared to ‘normal’ fire pits.

Be very cautious of this as the price seen is not what you pay. I had to pay £104 import fees as it comes from Germany. There was no mention of this seller being in Germany on the website and nothing was mentioned about import fees. Very frustrating. The Item itself is very good.

Love my solo stove

Love the stove. It is my second one. Cover was too short (optional) as this stove comes with a stand. Also spark screen is not durable. Deteriorates in less than a year.

Ich bin froh, dass ich mich für den Yukon entschieden habe. Er hat die ideale Größe für mehrere Personen außenrum. Der "Nachbrenn-Effekt", der kaum noch Rauch erzeugt, setzt ein, wenn das Feuer die nötige Intensität hat, was beim Yukon schon ein wenig mehr Holz erfordert, das zwar auch vergleichsweise schnell verbrennt aber eben auch sehr vollständig. Das Feuer ist durch die Höhe des Yukon viel sicherer (Kinder) als eine Feuerschale, viel sauberer weil sehr viel weniger Rauch entsteht (ab dem Zeitpunkt, wenn der Nachbrenneffekt einsetzt) und wirkt insgesamt viel professioneller. Ich hab mir den Wärmerückleit-Aufsatz gekauft, der sehr gut funktioniert, damit werden die Füße und Unterschenkel super warm - und zwar auch noch etwas weiter weg vom Feuer. Falls man diesen nicht benutzt sind die Füße deswegen nicht kalt - die Außenhaut des Yukon kann man nicht anfassen, ohne sich zu verbrennen - aber an die Wärme einer Feuerschale kommt der Yukon da unten sonst nicht ganz ran. Allerdings wärmt die Feuerschale nur in unmittelbarer Entfernung die Füße und Beine - das macht der Wärmerückleit-Aufsatz besser, er verteilt die Wärme gleichmäßiger über eine größere Bodenfläche. Grillen oder Ähnliches kann man vergessen, das muss man wissen. Das Feuer des Yukon ist groß, hoch, breit, heiß und stark und nicht wirklich gut dosierbar, dafür ist er konstruiert, er ist ein Breitschwert für 4-8 Personen außenrum und kein Skalpell und auch kein Kinderspielzeug. Das Nachlegen von Holzscheiten müssen Erwachsene machen wenn der Rückwärmeaufsatz drauf ist, weil der nicht mehr angefasst werden kann (zu heiß) und die Scheite dann durch den Spalt geworfen werden müssen
