iFixit FixMat - Magnetic Electronic Repair Screws and Parts Organizer

The iFixit Mat has quickly become an indispensable asset in my toolkit, and I can't help but sing its praises. This mat has elevated my DIY and repair experiences to a whole new level, making intricate tasks a breeze and ensuring that no tiny component goes missing.First and foremost, the size of the iFixit Mat is perfectly convenient. Truthfully it was way smaller than I expected, but thats perfect!!! It offers just enough ample workspace for disassembling and reassembling gadgets, while its clear organization helps prevent confusion. The magnetic areas are strong enough to hold screws, but not so overpowering that they interfere with sensitive I also appreciate the fact that the mat can be used as a whiteboard so that I can label the screws or measure component that need to be measured.The iFixit Mat is a must-have for anyone who enjoys DIY projects, electronics repair, or even simple tasks around the house. Its impeccable design, durability, and versatility make it an absolute gem in the realm of repair tools

I had looked at these project mats for a while and when my grandson's laptop needed work done, I decided that this would be the time to buy one. I would recommend this to friends and buy again.I used the compartments AND some of the grid spaces for the screws and parts as they were removed from the laptop. It was so easy to keep track of where each thing came from that I had peace of mind knowing that I wouldn't get lost in the process and forget where things came from.It is a good solid project mat, with a good feel to it and a bottom surface that won't skid or move around on a table or bench. It comes with a marker to keep track of everything, but a simple dry erase marker should be a readily available replacement for it. The included marker temporarily dries out if left uncapped, but is quickly restored with the next use.The mat is easily cleaned, it feels quite durable and provides protection for all of the bits and pieces of the project.

ifixit products are the best! I used this to replace laptop screens and cellphone batteries. The tray up top is magnetic to keep the screw’s confined and the board can be written on with the dry erase pen for quick not taking.

The iFixit brand-name is actually wonderful with all their products. I own things like their tools and various parts that I use to fix other items. The build quality on this particular. This Mat is actually really nice. It’s well-made the little sections that hold small pieces and parts are well placed and just overall very well made and functional. The magnetic part comes in really handy because I can then use other magnets to hold down pieces while I’m working on them or even take this entire Matt and put it under my microscope while I am doing component change out on circuit boards that are hard to handle without a third set of hands, which is exactly what this thing does, don’t pass up on this don’t buy cheaper models by the real thing. The iFixit brand is really great.

The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing pad for fixing phones or replacing parts. It appears to be very durable, and the magnet pad is particularly useful for keeping track of tasks screws and other parts need to be recorded

It’s a nice smallish work tray and magnetic board is very helpful. Dry erase pen does not write well on the surface. Pen is very cheap and plastic pieces have broken off before first use. The board/tray itself is well built and being able to have small metal parts stay in place due to the magnetic surface is really nice. The surface with a good dry erase pen is another nice touch. Making notes or drawing diagrams on the surface is a nice feature to have. I would buy this again just keep in mind the dry erase pen may need to be replaced.

Very nice quality and convenience. Keeps all the important small metal bits in place. Coming from no dedicated working space for little projects having this makes a big difference. It’s solid and can be used to transport projects from table to table as well for those who need a quick clean up / space. Thickness is just right in my opinion.
