This battery has worked great for me. I had bought a black & Decker weed eater and blower and this was a replacement for the one that came with it. The weed eater has a broken part and the battery is going strong. It still works in the blower which came with the set. I have had it and used it a lot since buying it in 2023.

The price is reasonable. When I went to a big box stores they didn't have a battery for my hedge trimmer. They told me that I could buy one on Amazon for $100 and advised me to get a new hedge trimmer. I paid less than $50 for this battery and it works better than the original battery. It holds a charge much longer than the original battery. It takes longer to fully charge. You may think it won't fully charge but all those battery indicator lights will light up. You'll be able to trim all your hedges and shrubs (I have many) on one charge.

Stopped working after 6 months. Company honored warranty and gave full refund.

My previous battery died after a few years of casual use... I thought I took good care of my batteries (keeping them inside during winter for example) and I only used them once a month... But the battery died and wouldn't charge after 2 years of use. Fortunately this replacement battery works well and will give me a few extra years for less than it would be to replace the hedge trimmer and weed trimmer. In future, I'll probably go with a gas trimmer and corded hedge trimmer so I don't have to keep replacing the batteries. But this battery is good and gives me some extra life.

Works well. It is just a bunch of batteries but they seem to have good capacity. Way more than my original batteries. Interfaces well with my drill and my charger. I would buy again.

Like others, I purchased this as a spare battery and trusted Amazon's rating as "Amazon's Choice" because it was cheaper than the Black and Decker equivalent battery and supposedly equivalent in performance. I had minimal problems with the battery performance other than sometimes finding it difficult to get the green flashing light indicating that it was charging. I probably only used this battery 10 times and I noticed the cover coming off. None of the screws would tighten so I removed the cover to see what the problem was. As you can see in the photos the threaded hole has cracked and broken in all 4 positions. This battery is not repairable. This problem is not caused by a defect but a poor design. The screw only protrudes slightly more than 1/4 inch into the threaded hole. It could have been prevented by using a half inch longer screw. In my opinion, the problem I had will happen on other batteries. I'll spend the extra money and buy the Black and Decker battery as my backup. Sept 5 - I previously stated that the battery was not repairable after the cover came loose due to the threaded holes cracking. I didn't want to throw the battery away so discovered that if you remove the existing screws and replace them with a longer #4 X 1 inch Pan Head screw, the cover can be tightened.

Very cost-effective

Battery is a good one. It keeps a charge for about 60 minutes. It does not take a long time to recharge it.
