Easy too put together, does the job very. Good quality and doesn't fall over if lopsided. Smart looking. Overall, for the price, very good value. Next time I'm at a dinner party, I will recommend it to my friends!!

I bought this 12 hook coat stand as a cost effective and space saving solution to the problem with hanging coats and bags behind the small downstairs toilet. It's early days yet, but the stand is doing a good job of keeping the coats etc. neat and tidy. The stand itself is sturdy, althoughputting too many very heavy items on it might cause the legs to bend, but normal weight clothing and bags should present no problems, and try to evenly distribute the items to avoid imbalance, although we have had no problems in that direction so far. The stand is quite easy to build using a phillips screwdriver, a nut and bolt fixing would have been preferable, although the self-tapping screws are of good quality and should be fine.Start by putting the legs on first, I found that this made building easier. The pegs have plastic caps on the endswhich can fall off, this was easily fixed by using a hot melt glue gun which sets almost instantly. Recommended where space is at a premium.

The product itself is fine and fairly sturdy... it will get the job done. However with the unit I got was defected. One of the holes needed to secure a hook through was not punched through; I had to do this manually with brute force. In addition I was one hook short, so whomever packaged this clearly wasn't paying attention. So three starts otherwise 5 if the two points I mentioned earlier did not exist.

Yes I like this very much. Only thing I did not like is plastic caps at the end of each pole. They fall off get lost small children could swallow, meanwhile it doesn’t look great.

The majority of the reviews described this as strong and sturdy, and only one described it as bad quality. So I took a chance, and the bad review turned out to be accurate. It is really flimsy, and when I tried to tighten the screws one went straight through the metal in the base, which meant that it was unstable and would not stand up straight. I really do not understand how something as obviously poor quality as this gets so many good reviews. I have requested a refund as it is not fit for purpose.

Had it a few years now, it is well used, probably have more coats on there than I should, but it has stood well & served me well!
