Mission 778x Integrated Amplifier (Black)

I’m very pleased with this product, it is a huge improvement over my previous amps and DACs (AudioEngine N22 Gen 2 and Parasound ZDac/ZAmp). The sound quality is excellent, and the unit just feels solid. It drives my Bowers & Wilkins XT2s and REL T/5x effortlessly. Great with headphones, too. The half width form factor was very important to me; a full width integrated amp would just be too big to place on my computer desk. Highly recommended.

great integrated amp. Phono input is crystal clean and the bluetooth works without a hitch. Heavy duty styling and construction, yet pretty to look at. Waiting for their CD player to come out, which is in the works. Audiophile quality at an entry price point. Really happy with purchase.

Excellent sounding amp, but not for every speaker When I first listened to this amp with the KEF ls50meta speakers, the quality was obvious, but the match was not ideal. The Mission amp sounded rather soft and laid back with the KEF pair. Those KEF speakers sound better and more alive with another amplifier I own. I suspect it has something to do with the low power of the 778x, because that same sort of thing happened with the Polk legend L100s, and the Polk speakers do like some power behind them. The basic character of the sound with both pairs of speakers did not change when the volume was turned up. As much as I liked smooth easy sound of the Mission, I was considering sending it back for refund. The only other pair of speakers in house right now is a pair of Klipsch RP-500M II stand mounts. All 3 of these speakers are more or less the same size, and all have the same size 5.25" mid woofer plus a dome. I feel all 3 speakers are very good, and also different. ANYWAY long story short, the little low power 778x Mission loves the more efficient Klipsch speakers. Also, the Klipsch speakers, which can have a bit of bite with some amps loves the smooth sweet sound of the Mission amp. Highly recommended match

Fantastischer Verstärker im Retro Style der Mission Baureihe aus den 80iger Jahren. Der Verstärker ist sehr wertig gebaut. Haptik, Optik und Verarbeitung sind über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Alle Anschlussmöglichkeiten, die man heute von einem ordentlichen Verstärker erwartet sind gegeben. Der Mission 778 X klingt hervorragend, spielt flott und sauber auf. Eine breite Stereobühne wird geboten. Straffer Bass, sanfte Mitten und seidige Höhen machen Musik hören zum Genuss! Ich kann den Mission 778 X vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Excellent sound quality. I use the wiim ultra with pmsl pro. Fyne audio f302i. Excellent out of the box. Hopefully even better when it runs in a bit. It beats my old marantz pm6006.

Very good amplifier,it replaced my Audiolab 8000a that I had had for 30 years.
