Wish I had listened to the other reviews. It doesn't work at all. The software they recommend you use (Zaza Remote) is from another company who sell there own hardware. So I recommend you get the app first and then follow the link in the app to buy their own device. Even then I had some issues getting it working. Their tech support sent me this, which helped to get it working:Tips（Before using the product, please make settings）：1.iPhone - Settings - General-Accessibility-Mono Audio（off） & Phones Eliminate Tone（off）2.advanced settings, macro buttons send down the interval, it is recommended that about 200.3.ZaZa maximum volume adjustment to 100, the purpose is to improve the infrared diode emission powerHow to use it: 1.Insert it into audio jack2. Rotate product until you can see a prompt window，then click the first icon3.Back to the main interface. Click add remote control（Click the plus sign）4.Choose IR appliance type and brand5.Let controller point to appliance. After several tests, select the remote control.Note: some models may not be included; please download zazaremote app to check your appliances models first.,The use of the product is combined with software.Because the software inside the database without your home appliances, resulting in products can not remote control appliances.

This item is useless !No iOS app!Not supported by apple

I brought this product for my iPhone, thinking it will work but it didn’t. It’s a complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend buying this product.
